Okay, I work at a UPS as a package handler (the guys that load and unload trucks) and one night while I was working and getting my trailer ready and everything a roller line (that's a machine that comprised of rolling shafts that slide the packages down into the trailer, it's also heavy as hell) landed on my right foot. Now if I hadn't had steel toe boots on this would have hurt like hell and could have smashed my toes (granted it fell because I didn't take out the tracks the roller is supposed to go on so it's entirely my fault why it fell in the first place.)
I could just imagine how the coming home conversion would go:
SP: I'm back.
Family member: How was your day at work?
SP: Not bad, I smashed my upper right foot but I loaded 700 boxes today!
Family member: Oh good for you hon-WAIT WHAT HAPPENED.
[This is the part where I would reveal the bloody stump of what was my right foot.]
