Influences of Luck on drops

So, currently this (http://moemi.mithra.to/~psu/uploader/src/psu1177.jpg) is probably the only research that has been done on the topic. Yeah, it was done by the Japanese, unsurprisingly.

Thoughts? I personally think that although it does seem to affect things a bit, that nonetheless the fluctuations are still within the reasonable bounds of variance. There are not any clear patterns at least. If anything, Meseta drops are most obviously affected.

I've been playing a little while (with and without luck), and to be honest, I haven't noticed any difference in drops, except Meseta, which you've already mentioned. Rares and other items see to be the same for me, regardless of whether I have no luck, or Lv3 luck.

I'll keep an eye out though for future luck days, and see if there's any notable differences. Having said that, I seem to be equally as unlucky on Lv3 days anyway http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

I believe that the different levels of luck effect different things. Most people seem to think that lvl 3 luck only effects grinding, but, I don't know about the other 2. I personally believe that lvl 2 luck effects item drops, and I believe lvl 1 luck effects the appearance of special monsters (like rappies), although I haven't tested any of this, it does seem to be this way. :/

All 3 levels affect the exact same things, only at different magnitudes. People still think luck affects synthing though, hopefully this, along with the PM combat level helping synth % is proven/disproven soon...

I noticed a little difference with drops, but the biggest change was in Meseta, certainly.
