lately there has been an increase in people dropping a constant trail of single meseta drops and/or presents!!! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Lately this may be something normal but some has brought up a possible conspiracy at hand!

it seems these conspirators work in pairs and lure the other 1-4 party members in a drop gobbling race to follow and scoop up the trail of meseta and presents in sight,
while the conspirator's partner goes ahead and gets all the exp and real treasure drops for themselves, then shares the spoils with their partner after the mission is over.

so be on the lookout for these sneaky tricks some people are lately trying to use.

Uhh... I do that... but I don't go for the treasure drops, because unless I'm soloing it, or I'm passwording it with friends, ALL THE TIME ALL DROPS ARE ON SET IN ORDER. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

... And I leave NICE presents. Boards, Trimates, Photon Charges, the legendary sword Elysdeon...

*goes for the....* Oh its Saner.
My friend yesterday was doing that and I was just grabbing up the whole trail. She was like 'ZOMFG! How are we suppose to find our way back.' I just say, 'By my good looks http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif'

Here's what I do... I make a trail of meseta to a portal that's very far away from the team... Right on the portal is a present or a weapon.

The person being trapped by my prowess, gets the... "OMFG h4X! THAtS what YoU get for being greeedy! muahaha" quota >.>

I always pick up the trail of goodies left by the drop bandits. Little do they know... I always pre hire a gang of uzi weilding Chao's to greet the sneaky partner.

People are actually stupid enough to fall for this? I'd imagine if you're stupid enough to grab 1 meseta at a time, one after the other, endlessly and not realise that you're being duped out of actual gameplay(experience, drops, etc), then whatever, prolly not worth having you fighting actual monsters anyway. o_O

This reminds me of people who would do this on PSO, and when you 'follow the yellow brick road' you end up either ambushed by mobs, or completely lost with the perpetrator already at the boss portal by now http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

So people are still using this old trick http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

I find it funny, but the plan doesn't work in my games. See, I have a thing called Set in Order, so I'm still getting rares.

In the time it takes for a "drop bandit" to lay out his line of single meseta and presents, you could be killing everything and taking all the drops.

I fail to see how this works.

Maybe its just me,but if I saw one meseta on the ground thats just like if i saw one cent on the ground..not worth my time to go after mabe if it was 100 meseta I might consider it..what a bunch of goobers.

Only happens if you are good friends with your party really. It's just the fun of seeing your friend getting murdered by a bunch of mobs >:D

But since I'm a force, I would have to run in there to save them afterwards lol.. Fun to lure... but I'm my own victim ; ;

Ok...So let me get this straight.....They use a trail of money to lure you away from the real rewards and exp?

So basically they give you free stuff and you don't have to do anything for it? I mean sure you don't get anything good but at the same time if they are joining your party you should have SIO. If you join their party....Well they should've had it set on private.....
I really don't see the big deal personally.

People used to do that on PSO when it was legit.

"A line of Meseta!? It MUST be profitable for me to pick up 20 orbs worth a buck each!"

You're an idiot if you follow a trail instead of the exp.

If you're following presents...Well, I won't even touch that one.

It's lame that you can only drop things in mission areas though... http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

I'd like to make a trail that goes from the Room, all the way to the PPT for one planet, then to one of those little Universe crystal things, with the amount of the target universe next to it, (Ex. 15 Meseta for Universe 15), continue the trail from there, and just keep going with that until they finally find where you are, and then give 'em the prize. Too bad noone's actually patient enough to do this.
