..has any of us come across one? At all? Seen them? Played with them? Been near their radiance? O_o

I was on a team with a dude who said he saw one. And he said he was japanese. I think hes name was HAZUKI but I may be wrong because this happened about 3 weeks ago.

Hmm, I haven't seen anyone with a blue name, but I did chat with a Japanese person with the character name Beatrixx or something of that sort who claimed to be a software developer for an RPG. When I asked what company they work for she/he said it was a secret, so I kept it at that ^^; Who knows, maybe it was someone from SonicTeam using a non-SonicTeam character because..think about it. If everyone knows that blue-named people are from SonicTeam they will be hounded like nothing else! Oh geesh, imagine what the lame item thieves/beggars would do... ugh.

Never seen anyone in game like that.

But I used to play EQ a lot with this one guy. He would always /shout out in zones when bored about Chrono Trigger trivia and stuff, and I never really thought anything of it. Then one day we got talkin about RL stuff and he told me he worked for squaresoft, and was responsible for a LOT of CT.. almost pissed my pants when he said that (god I loved CT. Hell, all SS rpgs rock..) pretty honest guy, and considering he didn't play much and always had the grubs on new SS titles, I believed him.

It is my guess that you'll have better chances finding the developers in the Japan servers early in the morning. and I doubt they play on the highly condenced server (Io I think). In interviews the developers said they enjoy playing with the community often, so I assume finding S-Beats and mag cells are rarer than finding the elusive Game programmer
