GC: A strange PSO bug (100% NON-cheat related)

I may have discovered a strange mathematical display error in PSO episode 1&2.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, open your equip menu .... go down to your MAG and select it as if you intended to take it off. Look over at the stat window and the game will project that your ATP will go UP without the MAG, even though it's totally incorrect. All other stats are shown as going down as they should.

I recall seeing it claim my ATP would rise from about 800 to over 1000 for removing my MAG ... I gave it a try just to see if by some insane chance my MAG was actually holding my power back. My ATP promptly dropped quite a bit.

I am not yet certan if this error is displayed under all circumstances or only the following:

A While you're shiftad
B When removing your MAG would cause you to remove your weapon as well
C Both A and B are true

Can anyone else corroborate this?

I think the same ATP added display bug also happens when you look to unequip your barrier.

I noticed the same thing with my mag. I had shifta and deband at the time from the mag's pb blast.

this happened to me too... except it wasnt from a mag or a barrier, it was my weapon. I had my soul eater +9 equiped, and when i went to unequip it, it said that my ATP would go up around 200 points... unfortunately, it didnt...... ><

This happens to me too. One thing is for sure, it only happens when I've got a Shifta boost. I don't remember if it was the Last Survivor or the Varista, but when I highlighted to 'unequip' my weapon, my ATP looked like it was going to go up by like 150.

It seems to happen when Shifta is on, only.

My only thing is that the game is confusing itself with the Shifta boost and adding on another Shifta ATP boost instead of remembering to take it off when you unequip a weapon/mag/shield.
