Why do some people blacklist others for such SILLY reasons? [Archive]

Just ran into that today.
One of my friends got bored so he typed in "I'm going Nanoblast on you!" and did a random pose to a random person. Personally, I would've found it funny, and yet the guy he did it to just goes *black list* and walks off.

C'mon, why can't people have a little fun in life. >_<

I never blacklisted anyone just yet, but I only think it is nessicary to blacklist those who gone over boared wiith the way talk to others or people who are really annoying like..screaming in the mic.

I bet he didn't even black list the guy. He probably did it just to try and make him feel bad.

The only person I've ever blacklisted was some level 48 guy that began running in circles around myself, tomeeboy, kuda and a bunch of others while spamming "NOOB ALERT!!!!" He did it for seriously a good 2 minutes straight before we all blacklisted him. Then, even when we had made it clear to him out loud he was blacklisted, he CONTINUED TO RUN AROUND US FOR A GOOD SIX MINUTES while we all continued talking. Then he left, only to return 5 minutes later and resume his running.

People are idiots. >_>

I only blacklist people if they're being jerks, and that's about it.
I'm comfortable with spammers because it's not that hard to ignore them. Unless their messages are directed at you. >_> Besides, I might blacklist a future ally. o.o That's the real reason why I stay away from blacklist. >_> I'm forgetful sometimes so sometimes I might forget to take people off the blacklist at necessary times.

Oh, I hate it when you blacklist people the person doesn't like, disappear from your screen yet is visible to others. You just can't hear them, but they can still harass you. >_<

Seriously though, I cyber in my house all the time, once I'm tired of the EXP and Meseta grind, but is it really okay to go in someone else's house and go at it? Should we all get together in groups of five and raid people's houses, just cybering there until they return?

I've blacklisted...one guy. Only cause he was annoying, cause he sat in one spot un the Moatoob lobby and spammed someones name for like 10 min. Everyone told him to shutup but he didnt. It was actually kinda funny but still at the time i was annoyed. But thats all

Hm.. people are odd indeed.

I can't seem to understand why people who send me their partner cards after I party with them blacklist me. What's more strange is that I don't give my partner card out first. I party with a person first, then if they feel they want to give me their card, I'll trade. For whatever reason you want to blacklist me after giving ME YOUR card is beyond me.

I don't go to many player shops for anything either and I'm not entirely an asshole.. at least to people I don't party with on a regular.

This has happened to me ooooh 3 times now? Actually turns me off from trading cards with people altogether.

One guy even told me "I'm blacklisting you now" back when I was level 20 somethin and I had no idea what blacklisting meant so I was like "Oh ok man, cool." (Yeah, I felt stupid after I found out what it was.)

Entertaining indeed.
