Question about stats and leveling...

I've been a bit confused on this...

I have a Lv40 character Hunter (9) that is about to hit (10). After that happens I'm gonna switch to Force. Now will this effect the way my stats raise from a normal lvl up (40 to 41)? Or do the stats change according to the race/gender of my character (male cast).

Any help much appreciated.

You have 2 sets of stats, your race/gender based stats that grow as you level up with exp, and your job based stats that change with mission points. no matter what job you are playing or what level it is, your race/gender based stats will never change. So... you have a Cast40/Hunter10 and you change to Cast40/Force1, you will lose the stat boosts granted by your Hunter10 but you will not lose any of the bonuses you have gained from getting Cast to lvl 40.
