Yeah you can farm Berans on C rank, which is why I was lvling my 2nd character at the same time I was hunting, it's not that rare if you happen to luck and get the right map layout with 9 bears total, as Da-beran replaces all instances of Billwhosabear, but most layouts only have a single bear at the very end.

I hear that if you have 50% dark element armor that Megid will stop insta killing you, it will do a ton of damage though when the death ability procs (you just won't die from it). At least you won't die if you're at full health.

good luck finding a max element dark armor tho, esp one thats near your level so you dont take massive meele dmg.

I think as a newman force my high mist and stamina will help me in some way to live thru it.

I have not actually died from megid yet, I just know that in S rank its more common.

There isn't one according to JP Wiki yet, Vicious. Just the /<type> PP Save units.

Now, do any JP players know the mechanics of Tei/Tech PP Save? It simply says "Tech PP efficiency up, TP down", with no percents (Like Bullet/Skill PP Save).

i've taken 1000 damage from megid when i used to equip blackheart offline. also unless they have some hidden effect all the extra units with visible effects suck except for safety heart(lvl1 auto recovery). offline i almost exclusively use Te/pp restore or hp restore.

Except with PSU's system of enemy placement, you can tell straight away from the block1 whether or not there will be any bears present(save the one at the very end). So what you see most people doing at the outpost is running in and out of the counter every 10 seconds or so. No time to actually run in and kill everything if you're seriously looking to bump into the right map.

As for getting them to appear in HIVE, someone else posted some research on their blog(http://lucemmo.blog83.fc2.com/blog-entry-12.html), and you'd need the G2 map variant, something you won't know until you actually get to Block 3. Hence most people would rather hunt in Caves.

Meiga/Stamina sells for 5k at the NPC shop on colony, and it does the same thing without the visuals...

Currently there's no PP regen unit, but there are rare PP save units that increase your PP efficiency by 150%, PPskillsave is a rare drop off rappy in S rank LL -_-;

If megid (or anything that deals a status ailment) hits you and does 0 damage, the insta-kill effect is nullified. Being at full health means nothing, if megid does even 1 HP damage you risk getting insta-killed. :S

Oh that totally sucks with the PP regen items :/

First they only give us 1/5 our spells now they give the hp regen unit right away wich I consiter a hunter item, and leave us with nothing on the Fo side.

I suppose the skillsave is an option later on. Guess I may as well go buy the 10k hp regen item now. I didnt get it on purpose expecting the PP regen to be out soon.
