Anybody (esp the jp players) know a site where I can find the mats needed to craft A rank weps?

I read katakana and hiragana pretty good so if its a JP site I should be able to read it.

I am mostly intrested in force weps since I am raising my Tech PM as we speak.

O.O mats for 8* rod crazy and 110k just for the disk.... this is gonna be fun to get.

gonna start shoping around might find some mats cheap since they are not in demand yet, on the other side of the fence, people love to put crazy prices on mats too since they dont know there worth or how valuable they are.

I know Neu Ebon (and all ebon) comes avl in NPC stores for 4k wich is cheaper than I have ever seen it in a player shop so thats good news and I would guess the board to go from ash --> ebon will be there and also an option.

The kersline and vestaline, cyral stuff tho not sure if thats going to be easy to get.

heh yea the mats for those 8* rods/wands are not cheap
right now I'm farming as many neu wood as possible to convert them all to ebon come next update, so far it's going kind of slow though, but it beats having to buy ebons from player shops... come on, what's with the 20k+ for 1 neu ebon >_>; (and 4k each is kind of expensive too considering how many you need for one synth)

kersline and vestaline's going to be a pain to get *sigh* 4-6k each from npc >_> and then there's the 8k vulcaline too..
I don't think I have enough money to try the synths for more than a couple of times unless I farm meseta like crazy

as for cyrals, been going around player shops for the past week, cheapest ones I've seen are 400-500m, but they're usually around the 1k range (although 700 is the highest I'd pay for one right now http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif). I'm hoarding a couple of stacks of cyrals since I bet those are going to go up in price soon (they're like 2.5k each from npc, maybe it'll turn into the next nanocarbon heh)

I think I may just make and also sell Tomoi Rods' I think it will be smarter to get the best B rank for now and shoot for a high grind on it rather than jump on the A rank weapons.

It was like that going from C to B.

I imagine a +6 Tomoi will compete with even a +3 or +4 8* rod and cost you so much less.

Also somthing alot dont think about is the recharge cost and grinding cost. A rank grinders are expensive for sure but the PP recharge is going to be higher on them too.

I guess I need to find the base stats on the A rank weapons to see if its worth the plunge. I wont have the money for one for a long time anyways as I still have about 500k woth of disks to buy to get my PM lvl 100.

No one sells Cyrals for 500 now http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif I think I bought them all ><

It will be a while until most materials are useable but meh, it doesnt hurt to stock up now.

Yea. Once the Ebons are sold in stores, they're only going to be 3k each for npc price. I'm only buying items for 1/2 off >:D

I'm always double checking for things running around in player shops. Right now... I think I'm having more fun rumaging around other people's store than actually fighting monsters and stuff. XD Best way for money and income I suppose~

Tomoirod +10 is more or less the same TP as Meirod +0 and a marginal PP advantage.

Assuming your pm is pure tech at lvl 100, and it should be by now if you're serious about upgrading past haujirod, you have around a 55% chance to make meirod, worst case with npc prices and factoring in needing to make 2 to get 1 success on average, it's roughly 180-200k per rod.

Tomoirod is 35k at shop, about 20k to make yourself with a pure PM, and you can expect to burn 10 of them to get 1 to +10. Factor in cost of grinders and...

Sounds like Tomoirod wins http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

and no my PM is only lvl 31... I have a good ways to go.

DJ you gotta help me out with mats man http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif I got on board the mat shoping spree too late and there is probably nothing left...

That and I am broke anyways ever since I sold that Ryo-Crea Sabra for 2500 meseta.... was almost 100k of mats invested in it.

o.o

Ouch on the Ryo-Crea...

XD I'm stacking those synth materials for later future. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif I have my own set of guideline that I follow for buying things and searching for stuff.

~Keeps me healthy in my crazy pockets. You should try to make some sort of buying/selling guideline too o.o'

yeah they need to upgrade big time but I know they probably have heavy loads of traffic.

I dont think they have any source of income from it tho via ad's and crap so sombody must be paying for it out of pocket so you cant really complane.

I have some, infact i also started the shop keepers guild for PSU PC/PS2 check the sticky in the trade section.

I just didnt know where to find what mats were required for the higher up weapons untill just now and also just the other day decided to drop the ~600+k to make a Tech PM.

then there is the fact I just aboslutly hate shop searching 95% of the shops are higher than NPC prices on everything I ever look for. Its find it myself or get it at the NPC most of the time.

hehe~ The first thing I would do is use their ads when I item-search.

Like some guy would say... "I'm 50% off " and etc. I check those stores first. Sometimes I see the stores with a blank ad which tells me that these guys are new players and would either try to sell something very low or very high since they dont know a thing about their items XD

You can even determine if some things will be sold for less by the person info on their ad such as:

1.Smiley faces :3 People with a good heart likes smiley faces http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif ( Unless the smiley faces are an evil like this one -> http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif )
2.The character's info. Such as ... their gender, class, etc. Sometimes someone would sell something they dont need such as ..."A Male human selling off Cyrals for 400"... Since he doesnt need psychic powers from such weird things... har har har ~

http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif I know what you mean heh. <3 going around player shops looking for synth mats (lol maybe that's why I'm not even lvl50 yet XD) I'm also stocking up on Teranites too, thought I'd make a Card weapon or two (or a Bow's fine too) to play around with http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I may be remembering incorrectly, but I think I've read that the 7* metals usually sell for under 1K in player shops in the JP servers, and many around 5-700. Apparently they're fairly common drops in some of the newer missions.

Also, I think someone mentioned that they still don't have A Grinder boards yet, so even if you have the Grinder Base A, you can't make the grinders for A rank weapons. May want to take that in to consideration when looking at weapons to synth if that's true. I find the JP PSU wiki very helpful with the list of weapons and their stats at each grind level.

ViciousXUSMC
Nov 30, 2006, 02:38 AM
O.o if that is true then defintly going for the top B rank weapon is the way to go.

I am sure that that the stuff is going to be cheaper in JP than NA because:

1.) They have higher up missions and also run them easy
2.) In general I find JP economy to always be more fair than the NA

I'll do alittle shop searching when I get off work and see what I can find.

On that note, what is the best mission to farm for neu wood/ash you guys think? I found alot of it passing thru to get to the relics on C rank but if I was farming for it wich mission has the most of it? (hate worms grrr)

All you using the JP wiki, is the PSOW member basis just mostly pretty good at reading japanese, or do you guys use some sort of translator? I took the time to learn alot of japanese in my downtime at work, but I am very supprised to see so many others that know even more than me.

edit: about the ad search instead of item search.

reason I havnt used it much is often times on items like say el-photon's you will only find 6 shops with them in the item search so thats every shop on the server with that item (unless search is broken) so thats the best way to find them, with somthing that an item search maxes out on (say a staff) its possible that overpriced shops are blocking good shops on the list so an ad search is a good idea, however from my small use of ad search so far every shop I see with a good ad does not have the item because its bought already or the ads are outdated wich is why I use the item search function more often.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm using Google Translator. It's fairly decent, and all of its little "quirks", I just mentally rewrite in my head.

But if you suddenly find me asking what your "Legal Attacking Force" is, just tell me what your TP is. =>.>=;

Ah one of my majors is Japanese so I can pretty much understand a lot of it. I also do a lot of side self-studying too http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

As for neu wood/ash, I just run through the C missions all the way through to the relics. If there's a place that drops them frequently, I'd like to know too http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
