grinding questions

i just started to grind all of my weapons and ive grinded them all 3 times... how much more can i go without them braking? well they ever brake if i use +10's?

Anything can break unless it says "there is no chance of failure" before you grind it.

If you've grinded all of your weaposn to +3 without even one breaking, you're probably kind of lucky (depending on what kind of grinders you've been using). You can definitely break a weapon using +10 grinders, even going from +1 to +2 (unless you have level 3 luck, I believe). I think most people stop if they are lucky enough to get to +4 or +5. Personally, I stopped at +3 on most of my weapons, as I don't plan on keeping them that long and would rather not waste more money breaking them (I waste enough synthing to get higher elemental percentages! heh).

Heh I broke a 5 star dual gun set once -_- +2 is as far as i am willing to go with grinding.

Kubara weapons have bigger returns for grinding i think its beyond 3-5. Bonuses to dmg and pp go up alot with kubara.

Its the same thing essentially that tomeeboy stated; the higher your count goes when grinding a weapon the greater the risk.

Also try to choose to grind your weaps when you have Level 3 luck it helps.

I grind absolutely everything to +1, since its a given, but I've only ground my bows past that. Anyways, given that my base TP is 700+, 20-30 extra TP from a couple grinds isnt going to up my output a whole lot.

Every single weapon i've grinded is at least +4. I've never broke anything less than 4. Once I start hitting 5+, that's when shit starts breaking.. And i'm a hunter, so the C handgun I have I grinded +8 times cause I can afford the risk easily.
