View Full Version : Transfer from x360 to PC

Recently I returned my x360 version of PSU and decided to get the PC one instead. I fought with myself over this for a while and decided to post some of the reasons for the switch. First off my comp smokes the 360 in terms of map loading speed. I've usually started to attack the first set of mobs by the time my 360 friends load. Next I can use my 360 controller on my PC so I'm not losing any fun factor there. The PC version I got was 54$(new, tax included) and the 360 version was 65$(new, tax included). Although I didn't notice a difference in overall visual quality.
Should I have just stuck with the 360 or was all this just a waste of time?

How is that? The 360 servers and PS2/PC servers are seperate.

You aren't the only to move from 360 to PC. Not much is loss from the transfer, unless you have many friends you can't part with on Xb?
Being able to take screenshots on PC is a very nice option too.
Either way, it's best to stay in the environment where you prefer. ;]

My 360 has yet to overheat. Same goes for the consoles my friends own.

Keep your idiotic insinuations to yourself.

Excuse me for leaving out some info...First off I never started an account on the x360 due to the fact that I would've had to pay for xbox live and PSU monthly sub. just to be able to play. I just returned it for a full refund and got the PC ver. I just wanted some opinions from people who have made the switch(if any) and what differences they noticed. Thanks for flaming in advance....

you don't need xbox live gold to play PSU 360

Forgot to anwser this....My friend hooked up his console in the same room as my PC, we then both walked through the same portal to see who would load faster...Mine won. We thought of a few different methods to test this. We then both warped to a different block at the same time...my PC still won. Then we tried canceling missions at the same time...my pc was still on top. It might just be my dam internet screwing with the 360's connection, I'm not sure. I know these are not accurate enough tests thats why I went through all the trouble of making an account and posting.

I didn't know this. I only assumed that a gold sub. was required because thats what a friend uses to play from his 360.

i use gold and psu, i dont really play but from what i have seen the jump to pc from consoles are usually pretty nice. I prefer consoles because id rather pay 400 dollars to max a game out then 2000. but yeah good choice, it seems like more people play pc anyways
