Best Tank?

Well, what class do YOU think makes the best tank? Since I'm planning on playing just a tank for the most part ((Yeah, get's boring after a while, and not the most affective character solo... But you need them online)) I was wondering everyone's opinion on who is the best tanking class. Let's make a quick rundown of all the best canidates, shall we?
HUmar:
*Good all-round stats, especially for tanking
*Can use 250 materials, a DEFINATE advantage for maxing tank stats.
*If you play one as a tank, you'll be... *GASP!* Original! All other HUmars want an all POW MAG and their LABIS CAMMON+99kthxbye.
*Support techs really help out.
-No overall GREAT stats for tanking.
-On average, the most overused and overrated class.
-No other race benefits.
HUnewearl:
*Good DFP and EVP stats.
*Support techs really help. TP regen is slightly useful, too.
*Yer hot. And it'd be really going against the flow to be a HUnewearl tank.
-Also overused class.
-Low ATA.
HUcast:
*HP regen rules. Traps are helpful, too. And perma trap vision is great, since you'll usually be heading the party.
*You look cool. And you'll actually be playing a character the way it's meant to be played.
*Good HP and DFP. And you'll still have formidable ATP even if you expend all of your energy on raising tank stats.
-Mediocre at best ATA and EVP.
-No magic = no support spells.
-Everyone will probably point and laugh when you're playing a HUcast that can't kill a Delsaber by yawning on them.
HUcaseal:
*Once again, gotta love the HP regen and traps/vision.
*Undoubtedly has some of the BEST combos in the game.
*GREAT EVP and ATA.
-Still no support spells.
-Fairly crappy stats otherwise.
RAcast:
*Regen/Traps/Vision
*Ungodly HP. Good DFP and ATA on the side.
*You will have discovered the RAcast's secret ability...
-People will find you strange for not sniping.
-No magic.
-EVP and ATP aren't too high.
-Can't use all close-range weps.
RAcaseal:
*Regen/Traps/Vision
*Great stats for it. Highest DFP, second-highest EVP, and good ATA.
*You'll be oxymoronic if you play a midget RAcaseal. ^.^;;
-Once again, people will think you're strange since yer not sniping.
-No magic.
-ATP isn't the greatest.
-Can't use all close-range weps.

There. So, what do you think? I'm not even putting any other characters, because they're not as good of tanks as even the worst of these. Yes, I was VERY bored when I wrote this. But please, vote, and share your wisdom why.

Ok whats a tank? I always thought a tank was the bad ass mofo with the big sword and cool mag that ran strainght into the guys took all the damage and stole all the rares.

i think racaseal or ramarl since ranagers can partisans now and they each hold the lead in a defensive stat

I'm going with RAcaseal myself... Although I think everyone is overlooking the HUmar's potential. Oh, and, I'm sorry, but, NO. RAmars can't tank.

I'm talking about tanking, people. And I'm not asking who do you think is the best character overall, or your favorite class, I'm asking which you think is the best for tanking. ATP isn't really importaint for tanks. But it is an okay bonus... HUmars can make good tanks, though. Noone seems to realize this. Resta is good, and they can cast Jellen And Zalure, saving TP on part of your FOrce. And they have good balanced stats. High DFP, HP, EVP, and ATA. The importaint stats for tanking. HP, DFP, and EVP to survive, and ATA because... Okay, tanks need multihit weapons. Partisans are the ultimate tank weapon. That way, they can hit a lot of enemies, and keep them all stunned. That way, your party doesn't get hit as much. And if you have higher ATA, then you won't miss as much, meaning you'll be more effective at keeping the enemies at bay.

RAcaseal, of course. She has all that's needed for tanking: high HP, high DEF, and high EVP. Though those stats are not top of the line, they are all above average, if not excellent; unlike many other classes who have to sacrifice one for the other.

But I was surprised.... Isn't HUcast supposed to be best tanker? Funny how a Ranger is now most potential tanker instead....

I know... This one confused me, too. ST hasn't exactly been known for making sense, but this is a bit strange. You'd think that it'd be the HUcast, wouldn't you?
