Being a force is fun when you have a good team or you're soloing. You just have to be careful about joining teams, because you'll often end up with annoying people who think force = priest.

Being a Force is probably 5x easier than it was in PSO.

I don't feel like making any alts because they end up far weaker than my FO >_>

I agree. Forces are fun, no matter how you put it.

Hell, even with just Foie they can solo Mad Creatures C at level 1. (Mind you, it'd take them a while http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif)

At level 17, I could outdamage a level 28 beast in his ATTACK nanoblast.

As of now play a tweaked force gives a false sense of true power. Your basicly a hunter with 3 hard to aim style PAs thats split between all the elements minus 2. Now once you get the aiming down its not bad, but I still feel the lack luster between the limited 3 hitter AoE, LoA, and focused effect on one target spell to all be accompanied by status effects. When the forces fill out thier list of TYPES of ways to use a spell I feel they will be a great interesting class that will last. This is considering we get most if not all of the monster spell attacks we are seeing now, though I haven't heard of a life tap AoE/PBAoE darkness spell, I'll be very pleased indeed.

Forces are far more enjoyble to use than a hunter. PSU took the fun out of hunters. Unforturnately many people are too scared to give forces a try. They look at lthe ow HP and think oh, why would I want to us this? If anything, ranger players will feel right at home using a force. They both have long ranged attacks, and cause stats effects to enemies.

That's always how it was >_>

And that's always how it is in MMOs.

And that's good, because I like playing the least played class.

But still, I think there are more FO's than RA's, so...

i was surprised myself. I changed my ranger over to force the other day to get ready to go guntecher for the update. i've really enjoyed the force class even as a cast. it started out bad but once my knowledge of the class grew so did the fun.

17 hunters don't get that opinion Raine, thats like saying Forces suck because thier AoE only hits when targets are scrunched together. Not knowing all the PAs past 1 combo or weapon types makes that opinion to biased severely

Heh, i loved forces in pso, and i love them now. in pso i could use ra-foie at lv 16 i think it was. ra-foie was my fav' spell (big explosion http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif ) In psu i love them ever more!! there outfits are cool, there wepions (alough limited to 2 c-rank wepions) are amazing, right now i'm working on a red 2-handed staff (forgot the name http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif). But i'd say there my favrioute class, becasue they give me a challenge, and i'm always up for a challange.

(also the fact that monsters you kill drop say 1k meseta makes it easy for monomates ect http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif )

I enjoyed Force on PSO, but definetly not as much as now. I was Hunter until lvl 20, when my guild asked me to be a Force to help them out with the healing (we didn't have any on) and so I switched and wow...I loved it! I still like Hunter though, it's very enjoyable in a group (imo) but solo its meh. I'll probably switch back to Hunter when I cap Force, but heck, I may not (Fortetechter is looking pretty sweet right now...).

Actually I've seen a decent amount rangers, although most of them are casts, i wouldn't go as far as saying they're rare.
Nova truly stands out from the ones people usually see.http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

oh ya all the classes are more fun fun than before http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Hunters have really cool and athletic Skills.

Rangers have Bullets they can freely change the color of their shots if they have those PAs for those weapons, so ya they are the Skittles class of the group. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

and Forces have really explosive and magical abilities and stuff. and thank goodness there are staffs that can equip 4 techs. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

You should have used Forces in PSO. Just think about this, they weakened them for PSU. Imagine that giant Rafoie blast killing every enemy on Ult. in 4 hits offline or 8 hit online. Even though they were toned down for PSU I still think Forces are the most powerful if you know how to use them.

Have you seen the video of the new technics that's to come? It's very exciting...

Welcome to the class of forces. I hope you enjoy your stay http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Force is so much fun because unlike the other classes, you need to multi-task a lot more. A ranger's primary job is to tag and SE ever mob. Hunters charge in and look like superheros with L2 PAs. That's fun, and I really enjoy both jobs, but the Force is entirely different.

As a force, I find myself constantly switching my items around, changing my tactics, watching my teammate's health, and constantly taking different angles of attack to maximize my TP efficiency. I sorta do this with a ranger, and a hunter as weapon+position tactics, but it's really a fine art with Forces.

I've played as a force in PSO and PSU and it's A LOT more fun playing as one in PSU. The attack spells actually deal out a good bit of damage and I like how the spells change more as they evolve. 0nce we get the rest of the spells I'll be a happy woman ^_^

about whoever said they outdamg'd a nanoblaster hmm lets see he hits an aoe at a pretty good rate it takes you 4 seconds in between attacks to hurt anything i think nanblast wins

Hmm I dont mind being the one against the crowd. I think Fo was both easier and more fun to play on the old PSO.

auto aiming spells, your actually knew your spells and could cast any of them at any time instead of relying on weapon binds (its not bad now with 8 spells wich arleady takes up all my weps but wait till you have 36 spells...) and before we could hit flying enemies, more than one part of a boss, and spells actually got much better at the evolution point.

Foi is a great example.

PSO: It started off as this slow little fireball with not much range, when it get better it got stronger, bigger and faster. By the time it was lvl 30 it was the speed of light and had more range than a rifle. Was great to spam foi as a fonewearl at falz with the summit moon as it could hit him anywhere in his ring and do damage all the time as magic goes thru his shield.

now PSU: foi starts off as this little fireball... as it gets better it gets bigger and does more damage... thats it. Not much more damage and no speed increase. The diffrence from lvl 1 to 30 is nothing IMO besides the extra damage the size doesnt matter since its only a single target spell and all the spells are much less visually impressive at evolution point for the most part (some exceptions like the Gi spells from lvl 1 to 30 is a BIG diffrence)

Yeah...you'll love playing a force till you try to create your pure force PM which you will need. It's not possible unless you have endless hours to waste in life on earning the cash and PM GRIND to achieve such...

Forces are a good class. If you die it's because you n00bed out and didn't bother using Resta, and their spells/bows are strong. Not much to worry about if you know what aiming and dodging are.

Except soloing. Soloing... you use PP really fast, and its slow... at least if you try for anything past C rank.

Force is actually the class I'm least interested in. Having to learn all those spells, having to level them and switch between them, I could probably get used to that. But I'm just not interested in taking so long to use an attack that has such a chance to miss. I'll probably change my mind when I level one (After I cap fortefighter, fortegunner, and figunner), but I may be bias due to my being a cast.

In fact, their spells never miss due to dice rolls. If you acutally know what the concept known as aiming is, it's probably the best class out there.

Try fighting those BUGS without a Force. In fact, tell me when you kill one of them in less than a minute without a Force. That'll give me a kick.

I got sick of my FO. I'm sick of these techs.... (I really don't like the Ra- technics....) but once the Gi- series are released, i'll most likely start to play him again.

I've "true" soloed the following:

Fight for food A
The first Parum mission.
De Ragan A
forrested Islands A
Neidaiz Relics A.

The only mission I run out of PP is in Neidaiz Relics. I can last throughout the others.

I can't see myself wanting to use anything else. Forces are far more enjoyable tha hunters could ever be. I will never change classes. I have a Rising Strike and I never even used it! Damn you tutorial.

It's more to do with lack of auto-lock and auto-homing that one gets by playing Hunter or Ranger. It does take some adjusting to the slow attack speed + slow projectile trajectory. I think even the most skilled FOs will miss occasionally against mobile enemies. The upside is, if u hit, u are guaranteed to do dmg, whereas HU/RAs have to worry about ATA stats (ie. bees in Mad Beasts). It's a good thing I suppose, it puts more emphasis on player control, rather than player stats.
