What are the names of the new photon arts? I assume all new weapons will get one, and I assume our current ones won't get anything new? Somebody with the japanese version wanna hook that info up for us?

The new PA's are for: single claw, double claw, forces (gibarta, gifoie, gidiga, and gizonde), crossbow, double saber, axe, grenade launcher and whatever else I'm missing.

But which ones? There's like 20 PA's for every weapon y'know.

NOTE: There aren't really 20 PA's for every weapon. It was just a figure of speach. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Good thing the JP story mode files transfer over to the NA version. The names are provided below.

Double Saber - Tornado Dance
Double Claw - Bukuu Rensen-ga
Single Claw - Shousen Totsuzan-ga

Laser Cannon Fire - Burning Prism
Laser Cannon Ice - Frozen Prism
Laser Cannon Lightning - Plasma Prism
Laser Cannon Ground - Plasma Grav

Crossbow Fire - Yak Banga
Crossbow Ice - Yak Riga
Crossbow Lightning - Yak Inga
Crossbow Ground - Yak Diga

Should i go about listening the prices that i see on the offline extra mode or no?

Edit: Yes i realize there's more but these are all the names i could find x.x.

Gernet: The first ones. There are 2-3 per weapon (depending on the weapon), unless it's a Rod and then there's 36 http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif.

Not a problem, it's not as difficult as one would think it seem though, assuming that with the S rank missions come out things are going to have more HP. As a result this is just another hunters way of pinning something to the corner and spamming it. Thus makes it easier for Forces. Personally in store mode i used it more of a means of transportation vs. a weapon xD.

Um, do you forget we get our spell cap raised? That means our abnormally large spells get even bigger (ie. Diga).

*loads up his Ethan Weber* Added note the B rank weapon of it in story mode Nightwalker has 220 PP for the GRM model wiht Tornado Dance draining 16pp each use. Need i compare it to everything else with a cost of 5-10. I mean hunter based classes will spam these but they'll drain out real fast.

Well, some of us will spam it, others will ration it. Like my Dus Daggas. I can make one Halbenata last until the final floor if I really wanted to. It's just funner pretending to be a DRG and using Penta Thrust.

Do I predict i'll be able to do the same for S-Rank missions? No. I'll need to get more everything. Gotta throw my Newman weight around with higher numbers more often. D:<

is tornado dance the horizontal dive spin forward skill?

AnamanaAU

The doublesaber PA? Yes, you dive forward but you can steer it left or right and do a full circle.

Don't over spam you might end up hurting yourself and flinging cards by the end xD.

Sidenote:

Tornado Dance = Psycho Crusher of PSU.

Psycho Crusher - A classic movie used by M.Bison/Vega in the Street Fighter Series involvoing the character launching himself horizontal across the screen.

Raiden from the Mortal Kombat series has a funnier version though. I mean c'mon, that battle cry he yells when he uses it is awesome.

What does anything offline have to do with network mode? Japan doesn't have Tornado dance online. They have spiral dance.

This is correct. Remember kids, offline/extra mode is not in any way, shape, or form an accurate indicator of what we'll get online, or when.

On a more serious note, does anyone know what new units we'll be able to buy, if any? Last time I checked the JP wiki has a NPC price listed for Mega/Power (14.5k IIRC), but not Tero/Legs. I'm looking for both, and wondering if we're going to get Mega/Power this update or not.

spiral dance is still good but it wont annoy forces or rangers as much

Dec 4, 2006, 11:41 PM
though im gonna be a fighgunner i dont belive tornado dance should be avalible online since it takes the fun and challenge out of boss fights and probably gonna have people yelling a fighgunners for not using a doublesaber and kicking them out of parties. i think blade dance should be the first online PA

I can see the "No FG" tags in Party descriptions already.

I was personally hoping that Gravity Dance would be the first PA Double Sabers got but seeing that the JP servers got that on the 9th last month we'll probably get that skill among others at a later date. I got Spiral Dance on extra mode and never really cared for it personally...
