What New Clothes? [Archive]

So to be honest with you, the thing I'm most excited about in the upcoming update is the clothes. I mean, let's face it: male fleshies have pretty much one and a half decent outfits right now.

So I heard we aren't getting the swimsuits in this one, which is fine with me (is it just me, or am I the ONLY person who doesn't give a flying crap about those? Everyone seems to be freaking out like it's the coolest thing ever...).

But, anyone mind shedding some light on which outfits we ARE getting? I really hope it's one of the two longer coats...

The only stuff i'm interested in are the Solid Snake and Samurai-ish clothing. If they aren't introduced this update, i'll just nod my head and go laugh at those retarded boots all the Human Males have by now.

The first human male ensemble isn't bad. The male cast is awesome (although after this, nothing but bad parts to come). The female cast parts are interesting. Iono, not impressed with the rest.

Good ol PSO had some great outfits and some horrible ones. I sorta miss HUmar's plastic outfit and some of HUnewearl's overly cute ones. Would be fun to see some updated versions make it into PSU.

And where are those..err..elephant ear like thingies for RAcaseals? D: They were cute ._.

Oh yeah, I remember seeing those from PSUPedia. The kimono is so pretty and I want it, but my friend is going to get it, so that sucks. XD

Heh. I remember saying that very same thing when I played Furrivaser - the first adventuring Male Mithra, on FFXI. Eventually, I got the materials to make my own good pair of pants, and I was happy about that.

Didn't that post that showed the clothes ask if these were the ones in the update? He asked to confirm or deny it. In all actuality theres a chance we wont get those clothes. I personally don't like the male sets escept maybe one of the tops.

LOL I used to do something similar in Everquest one when I ran across a new player that was a lazy ingrate when I helped them. I would tell them that if they typed /d for donation I could give them gold. Actualy /d for was the command for duel so when they did it I would ahnilate them and laugh.

Female boots on the right with an assortment of blue clothing I currently have. Yeah, my Newman is gonna be one sexy Figunner/Guntecher. I'll just breath through a small tube until she can look like a 3rd Echelon operative/cybersamurai.

I should find this post this guy made about those boots in the official PSU forum for you. He said that he draided the boots with the moatoob update so much that he had a nightmare about them. I laughed...so hard... And the shirt, he said the shirt looks like it has a huge tire skid mark on it like it was run over.

I'm always attracted to the more tribal/cowboy style items in video games. Partly because i'm Texan, and partly because I have so much native american heritage i'm practically crapping out spirit guides. o.O

I'm also in love with Wolves as a result. Love those little guys. =^o^= I've got like a million bookmarks with wolfs on them, dishes with display stands everywhere, tons of wolf and dog plushies, etc, etc.

Actually, I wouldn't mind some outfits like that for Tynselle, especially since she cowgirls up with those twin gunnies. In fact, I even have "It's always high noon in Tynselle-town" macroed for her. Not to thrilled with the new clothing options for male fleshies. But hey, something is better then nothing.

I would like to see the color variations though. As stated before, I want to get the MGS look-alike clothing.

Aren't they the parts that the Casael from Green-Green Farms, um, Norphe, had? Maybe NPC outfits are a possibility after all.
