i play offline, but 300 hours for a level 11x hunter went into offline mode and i was planning on playing online to suck my friend away from PSU!!! <_< but that dream just flushed with the crappy announcement, but why couldn't they announce it in english??? I would totally play on the online servers is there was hope of a year or more of online goodness left >_<

I'm still on PSO.I don't find PSU as interesting as PSO.I started a new characters a few weeks ago he's already lvl53 its a HUcast.My weapon a Brionac.

PSOGC was actually up for about 4,5 years I believe? Maybe 6? I wouldn't call that a short amount of time. Sure, more people would've kept it alive, but Sega lacked in security therefore PSO is done for them.

yeah i still play offline. btw does this news mean that any competitions or tournaments would be cancelled as well since the servers r going down. btw i mean offline tournaments like regionals and nationals.

Well i told in my last post of this topic that my HUcast was lvl53 and equipped with a Brionac.Just to show that i'm still on GC i will say my HUcast is now at lvl92 equipped with a Red saber +30

I play PSOGC and even though I really wanted to try online someday, Im still playing offline and enjoying it! Thats good enough for me!

I still play PSO GC with my friends now. They are striving to get into Ultimate so we can play all together at harder difficulties.

Of course, online will be a thing to try. Now if only I could get my hands on a darned BBA...

So, as you can see the community is still here, but dwindling... What's sad, though, is that Wal-Mart near me had a copy of PSOGC for sale (non-plus) for ... 50 bucks :shock:

yup me and 5 other friends are still on the GC version. we're always on the offlne mode though
