Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knew if Sega cares if you cannibalize lvl 1 characters over and over for pm food. I would hate to spend all that time flipping through menus just to be banned http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Nice site you got here btw.

you can remake as many times as you want, just be careful not to delete your main character.

I havnt been banned yet http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Dont see why they would care. They would prob laugh at us for spending all that time.....so boring X.x

thousands of people are doing it, and not one person is banned because of that. Just (as Alpha stated) becareful with the slot you choose, you might accidentally delete one of your main characters... or even one of your PM slot characters XD

I have a pure armor PM he must have diced though 100s of cast, plus i mean seeing how much sega is concerned about there community and doing such a great job taking care of the recent hacker sitution (*Sarcasm* yes i went there o.o). I don't think they mind if you canablized them http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif.

They seem to be diong an okay job given how hacks keep getting patched and new accounts of hackers keep getting banned What do you expect them to do, have Nugs et al assasinated? Because as long as you can use prepaid Visa cards they are going to keep coming back. Be realistic.

I too wondered about that although at this point the only reason I went through around 10 chars now was to find the hottest char I could make http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Personally, Sega has said nothing on the issue (as expected). So i pose this question. Where did all the monies gooooo? (Think girr from Zim someone here might get it).

Back on topic: Another punishment you'll recieve will be the mindless grind you prepare to put yourself through endlessly xD.

IMO, the only punishment for doing this is the sheer monotony of it. I did this for my armor PM and by god, I doubt I could stand to do it ever again.

The only punishment you will get is that souls of all the casts that you ripped apart and destroyed to feed that special armor PM will come back and haunt you in your sleep. Now I laugh at them everytime I see them.

One more day of feeding and I'll have my armor PM girl with the funny looking hat. Then the Cast community can breathe a sigh of relief as I plan on never ever doing that again to make another PM. My character's room is starting to resemble some kind of underground robot body part chop shop.

Hours lost to do such a thing is punishment enough, IMHO.
That said, I plan on making a Lv100 Armor PM on my alt (read: my roommate's crappy PM) once DeviceZero is out.

offtopic: All that broomie-woomie pudding-and-pie did was speed up the economy by about a week, maybe two tops; they were too busy sitting on top of their 'goldmine' and selling it on eBay in careful rations to REALLY wreck the economy before ST came in...

On-topic: The only reason I STOPPED farming is because I was sick of it.

Oh, and this is important, so I'll shout it:

A CHARACTER IS NOT ERASED UNTIL YOU CLICK 'FINISH' UNDER THE NEW CHARACTER'S NAME!!!!!!!

Go ahead, test it. Go, create a new character, strip him down, then go into the character creation screen... and then back out of it. You'll see the naked stripped character sitting right there in front of you, completely healthy.

I'm now cursed with this image of one of my PM's many cast sacrifices every time I sleep.

One of my cast friends came upon Nougami while he was feeding his PM cast body parts. Nougami asked him if he wanted to pet his PM, but he ran away from the room screaming in fear and sent this message:

To me this is the same as pipeing on PSO, it's just to boring to be worth it. I'm not that dependant on rares/pm's to waste hours of my life doing stuff like this... especially on a game that saves server side, so you eventually lose your char one day.

cast and armor are still much better than newmans and wands :/

soooo many newman deaths. I named my character Genocide since the name sticks even when you remake them, made it easy to know what character i needed to kill. and if one of my friends looked at my guild card they knew what i was doing http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I think I figured the "big picture" out. Where do all the new character weapons and armor come from?

Well thats easy, see all the people with lvl 3 luck go and break there high end weapons to pieces. You never get the broken pieces back, they keep them and melt them down into noob weapons. So see your not cheating when you remake characters its a nesisarry evil to keep balance in the economy so we dont get an abundance of broken weapons built up.

Now go do your part to save the economy then sell your wands for 200 meseta to me http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Funny, I did the same thing with the casts that I've been killing remaking over and over again for my armor PM. I named mine SpareParts. I figured it would make it easier for me to spot the character slot that needed to be reused, and would let my friends know what I was doing when they looked up my card. (Although now they think its funny to try and sneak into my room with my throwaway cast while I'm stripping it down, just to see how long it takes for them to get booted from the room when I recreate it.)

Man, I was to make my armor PM so badly, but the sheer monotony has me not wanting to do it...
