I have been trying to figure this out, If I were to make a PURE Armor PM, what one would it be? the GH 440? I'm' not sure cuz all the guides say crap like greater than/lesser than and that's fine and dandy but none mention the armor so....anyone know?

Thanx

It is indeed GH-440, which is a shame to be honest ; ; I wanted to see its own exclusive form

thank you for letting me know, for a second I was seriously thinking that it might be stuck a green ball with arms http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I would wonder what a armor exclusive form would do in combat... Since the other PM's tend to use weapons based on what they're grown into, such as the 410 using striking weapons for being mostly striking.

I guess the armor exclusive one would just go around saying "Shine your shoes governor?" and maybe gives a defense bonus to allys =Þ

According to psupedia it will be Calculating with Wild Abandon and use Shotguns...so...

My striking-type 420 has 90 technic. They really are just relatively based on what they're made from. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Also, at least that means 440 can be a pure. Only the 420 cannot be a pure-type.

Which makes it the most unlikely pm to create.

Yeah, especially since you can only max at 79 strike, 79 ranged, or 90 tech or armor for a top stat. But they kick ass in battle. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I'm still not exactly sure what calculating does for my GH-440 pure armor build and it's at B Str 19 i believe. The only thing i've noticed is i can leave it alone for a period of time and then it'll run back to me but that feels more like independant to me.

A pure armor PM wont make you good at synthing armor...it will just make you suck slightly less than everyone else.

Well said, Jarek, but remember that a 50% chance is better than a 20%. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Yep, I'm also building a pure armor on one of my chars. Actually, there is something I've been wondering...I have heard that in battle, some PMs will simply follow you closely, and only attack enemies that come within a certain range (like NPC partners do, basically) whereas some are capable of moving and attacking with some independance.
Specifically, I have heard that the Sword-type and Handgun-type will only follow you, but the Claw-type and the Shotgun-type will attack on their own somewhat, and do not need you to walk right up to enemies before they attack (which if true, would make them way better choices for Ranger or Force types). Can anyone confirm if this is true, and how much of a difference it actually makes? And I have NO idea what the Tech using type does...I heard she used to cast Resta like crazy, but after the update, not so much...which apparantly ticked a lot of people off. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif So what does she do instead? Attack techs?
I'm still trying to figure out who is going to get what PM among several characters...Thanks for any and all help. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

It's pretty much as it sounds. The 420 (claw) is an independant type; it will move toward enemies and attack even if you're not (which is essential for Forces). The 410 (sword) stays close to you, so if you run up to fight, it lays the smackdown with you. However, if you're a force, she isn't going to be much help (unless you get raped often). The 440 shotgun type is supposedly "calculated" though it's more like "MONSTER! SHOOT! SHOOT! SHOOT!" et cetera. Of course, I've only seen a 440 in action once. I've never seen a 430 or 450, so I can't comment on those.

Im raising a GH440 right now http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

I think GH440 looks the best out of all the obtainable Gh400 series.

Then why do I only see such Armors on those people's shops with GH 440's? And furthermore...do you HAVE a 440?.....

Pure armors are SO easy to make though. It's not fair. Make CAST, steal parts and armor, put in storage, repeat 7 times, feed parts to PM. 2.4 armor levels right there.

Yep that would explain it, correct i have a GH-440 for quite sometime now. There really more so for the gambling time. Example at one point the teroline takes about 99k in materials to make however it was easily venable for over 400k. Same went with gigalines i made at least 200k selling those ^_^.

well either way......I have a crap load of things stuffed in my current PM and she's already overflowed once so I'm gonna start giving it to my "soon to be" 440 to lighten the load.

uh this takes forever, but it definitely takes 8 times, for armor plus parts, and just think the storage box holds 32 items, then you are remaking casts 21 times, and even then its gonna take a week if you do it every 12 hours. too tedious for some, but Im happy with my lvl100440 http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif the stupid little whore cost me 30 nanocarbons though >:3 which Im still quite angry about!

DarkSeph

Why did you have to lose Nanocarbons? Hell, I just using all CAST parts http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif
