Me and my friend just finished stage 1 offline, and when we went back to improve our time, we noticed that we started at level 1
how is it possible to beat stage1 in under 12 minutes if your reset to level 1

only been playing for a week or so now...

What i mean is, if offline and online are the same, how is it possible.

I've never played Challenge mode except back on the DC Vers 2. I'll move this to the correct forum though.(The Lounge is for the invitation of new membres)

when playing the normal game you have to kill everything. when playing challenge mode you have to ignore rooms and enemies. find out what is essential and only do those things. i know it can be done in 9 1/2 minutes if all the characters know what to do.

Challenges are still the same as in the DC version - Right down to the fake walls and Pallasch in the Ruins.

Challenge 1 can be done in under 8 minutes... I think lowest time I've seen is under 6 minutes.

The enemies in c-mode aren't fixed, but depend on the ids. For example, if the person who created the team (player 1) is ORAN, it's a guarantee that you'll see a mothvest. If you get the right combination of players and ids you'll get a map with few enemies and can reach the dragon really quick. The only problem with this is that you'll only be level 2 and the dragon can even 1-hit kill a HUcast at that level.

So, if you want a really good time, first you have to have good players; second, you have to know the area/map and what to do; third, you need luck for weapons and enemies (section id).

10 1/2 minutes and level 3-4 is a conservative non-hardcore estimate to defeat challenge 1.

beat mine with 5 mins 59 secs on stage 1. but i had 4 people. =/

At 9.5 minutes you should be able to get up to level 3, which is safe if you're a HUnter.

Any time under 10 minutes is good.

funny how skeptical i was of this til my first time through online was 13'26 and my second was 12'26
can i still get srank with that kinda time?
i mean by getting better times in the others, or is it just safer to cut what time you can from this one?

That time is fine. Completing all of them under 7 hours isn't too hard... that is, as long as you have someone on the team who knows what to do. Even using the maps here in can be tough to figure out what to do at times.

c1 doesnt need to be under 10 minutes not even 15 minutes you can still get S rank with 49 minutes ive done that on DC pso its the TOTAL TIME as long as they all average 35 minutes. some can be 45 as long as some are 25 your time will be fine. all these posters are TA fanatics dont be worried =)
