OMG story mode is painful! (no spoilers)

I'm just into chapter two. It took like an hour to get through ten minutes of dialogue and pointless shrugging and jiggling of the characters.....

im on chapter 12 story mode seems harder than extra since you got through 20 free missions at once with no break

I'm actually enjoying the story itself. The timing is just so off, like for example, Ethan having to shrug and toss his arm before he says anything.
