How elemental works on armors?

An ice elemental armor will give me more defense against Fire or Ice monsters?

And i'm getting also a weakness?

whatever % element your armor is it gives that much -%dmg from the same element, but +% dmg against the opposite, works for all damage. If the mob is fire his physical attacks are considered fire.

My Gigaline is 16% Fire.

I take 16% less damage from Fire enemies and spells.

I take 16% more damage from Ice enemies and spells.

There is also an item in the Tenora shop, Mega / Rainbow, a B ranked body unit that will add 8% to your elemental resistance when worn with elemental armor.

Elemental armor can really be great at times, especially in the single element stages like Linear Line and Agata Relics
