disconnection issues

i started playing psu this weekend, and im getting disconnected all the time. usually i cant even finish a mission. is it like this for everyone? ._.

Got any programs running in the background like itunes, irc, msn?

nope, i havent had anything running when i play. i think my computer and connection are decent too. :/

I have the same issue.

Contacted Sega about it, and they gave some generic answer about background software/services, port openings and anti-virus/firewalls. (Like I hadn't already explained to them that I had checked ALL of that out.)

Anyway, anyone have any ideas? I can't even defeat Da Ragan before being disconnected. No other MMO has ever given me an issue. Time Warner cable broadband...

any problems ive had playing on either my pc or my ps2 are because of networking issues. usually its my stupid modem/router/wireless network. too much bandwidth goin thru it just shuts it down. but thats in my instance. we play way to many games at my house lol
