I've always wondered this, what types of photons must you synthasyze to get a pink look? Dark-type Photons? I saw lines with different shades of pink and I'm curious..

I think it was just contrasted with the clothes that give it that look, Cause as far as I know you can't change colors, Dark is always purple.

I see, I guess I'll have to make experiments, then. >.<

My dark armor shows up pink on everything I have worn it with and I have yet to see purple. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif So yes to May Lee in at least some circumstances. When I go online maybe I will swap different shirts to see if I can change the color, but it looks precisely like your hair in your avatar.

Fire looks more pink than red, on armor.

Awsome! I'll try that.

I wonder if you can mix photons, I mean if there were two "???" slots in a board.. Mix two colors to get a new one.

Not outside the realm of possibility, but to check it I got onto these forums from my PC and nope, my armor shows up that same color as her avatar's hair on the PC monitor. That's on a red shirt/top. Now I'm a bit curious enough to go switch tops and try to get it to look purple lol.

I have a HDTV and I beleive the colors that I see are more acurate then most people. Like a red Beast for example, he looked red on a regular TV but when I swited to High Def, it was more of a hot pink. Also, when I used my other TV to create my character, it was hard to find "Pink" for her hair. I switched to High Def and I actually found a nice dark shade of pink.

So maybe Dark does come out as pink sometimes.

Try white or blue.

That seems more likely, May Lee. I'm on a PC monitor. Maybe some others are on PS2 and regular TVs etc. Still I'm going to see if changing tops changes the armor color but I am really thinking not. Its always been pink on the armor for me through all the tops I own at least.

Well here is a older pic of my character with dark armor on, I think I was wearing Zeetline. THis looks purple on my computer, but I play on PC so I dunno. It's a 19 inch LCD screen.

Ahh. You talk of Pink Armor and I missed the beginning of this conversation. Especially when Tynselle's all about matching the hair.

Two of the armor photons I typically use for both a possible pink look are either.

1. Light (Shows up as Pink)

2. Fire (Also often comes across more pink than red, so it looks very very close to Light Armor. Enough that if you have anything else pink, it'll seem to match it.).

By the way, MayLee. Will you be able to access my site from there?

Take a look, if you can.

In the first pictures, I'm actually wearing a Fire based Armor. That's how pink it comes across. Also, if you wear Light based, it'll almost look the same. I had Light armor before I moved to Fire. The one I'm wearing now has no element, but I wanted it for all the other bonuses it came with. I couldn't find Elemental Armors of cost that actually had decent slots. All the Elementals had maybe 1 slot.

Cool, I thought Light usually comes out as white, then again, usually when I add light disks to my rod it turns pink..

Yeah, can't see it. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Maybe it depends on the types of lines

Dark is purple, fire comes across as a reddish-pink. I know, because Scrub usually has dark armor, and I have fire element. If you're seeing anything different, your color settings are off just alittle.

No, you can't mix photons to get new colors, because the elemental photons aren't meant for mere looks, they serve a function, thats why elemental armors have percents.

Sometimes dark does come out as purple, I beleive I had tried it with Ethan.
I know, but it would give your armor more resistance to another element.

Its color context. Mine comes out the same as Genobee's more or less (purple), but it looks pink to my eye in the combination I am using presently (red top). Odd though, after JPG compression and a switch over to the Mac monitor it now looks decidedly purple. Its pinker on my PC.

Bottom line though is its simply screen differences and Dark is a light-ish purple, seen as a sort of pink in some contexts or screens.

Edit: lol, maybe I just need glasses? Treya has them. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Yup, dark is purple. Dark is always purple. It may show a bit different for you, but it's still purple to the rest of the world. On the HDTV, when I was on Xbox, light looked like a VERY pale pink, and Dark was lighter, almost pinkish shade of purple. On PC, and ps2, (as well as on xbox on a normal tv) they are decidedly white and purple, respectivly.

Fire looks pink, dark looks like a light purple.

Line-shield, sadly, doesn't have post-prod effects, so it doesn't glow in the dark, and it doesn't look good, in general.

If you want "pink", either fire or dark will work, but fire makes you weak to barta, while dark only makes you weaker to grants

Personally, I'd use dark-based armor all the time, but my gigaline only comes in fire... ><;
