Room and getting logged off troble???

I keep getting booted off by the server out of my room and my visitor log is cleared(8pm central). Anyone else having this Problem?

I was unable to get into my character's room for a few minutes. It always booted me back to the city. When I did get in, I was disconnected.

EDIT: Now "My Room" is grayed out for some reason at any of the universe switch crystals.

Seems like its fixed but I'm lagging. Seems like it will happen again: BTW if you made anything a second or two before getting booted, it didn't save it.

Did you recently change your room theme or decorations? Were other people in your room at the time? This was actually a very common and obnoxious glitch when the beta was out for the 360. I seriously doubt you're being hacked. I would call sega and give them your character name and information. Hopefully they will be able to recover your character information if the glitch is indeed what happened here. If the problem persists the sooner you call the better chance of character recovery.

Doesn't the 360 have a ton of disconnects, the same bugs with rooms, and also if you go to the 'Recent Visitors' thing or something the game crashes? Nah, that's okay. I'm good here on PC.

It's probably just lag if the list is empty. I've tried to bring up the list a few times it was empty, other times all my stuff was intact. Of course, I would disconnect if I tried to leave my room.

I think Sega should shut down the servers for a week... I'm serious. During that week they could fix everything that's messed- hackers, lag, and all the other glitches. I'd rather have my items safe than having a whole 'nother week of playing.

WoW hit HORRIBLE bouts of EVERYTHING during their first year, I haven't experienced anything bad except for this room thing once yet in PSU.

Suggesting extremes for minor inconveniences that will probably resolve itself overnight isn't helping. Considering the PSU community draws rumors from everything that's said on forums, we're probably going to hear 'OMG THEY'RE SHUTTING DOWN THE SERVERS FOR A WEEK SOON' in a bit.

He's probably not good enough to hack any game where anyone cares. I mean, I never met any hackers in FFXI. There was a hacker or two in Neocron, but nothing really noticible, and it was mostly just an anti-damage hack thing. This is the only game I've played with a serious problem. Well, and PSO, but by the time I got online the hacker problem was so bad that it was kinda funny.

1. It's probably just a coding error. The rooms had the "Recent Visitors" bug before and it probably was a scab someone scratched open

2. Shutting the servers down for a week won't do much. If the problem's that big, there's nothing a team of programmers can do in a week to fix it when they've been programming for just about 5 years.

3. Broomop can't code his way out of a box. I've seen the way he works, he scans hex until he gets lucky. A 5 year old can use the same tools he does.

4. Calm down. I know some of you have important synths that you want to check and maybe you're full on other items. But there's other games. YouTube a bit or something, update your trade lists, something.

and 5. If every 360 user is going to gloat every time there's a hickup in service, I'm really glad I'm not playing with them to begin with.

That isn't the only account of it happening. Let me look for the link to the other one.
The other one was an xobx 360 player who was bragging about hid Grinne bete S statue alot and someone got his gamertag then stole his stuffz.

Because he has no actually hacking skills, and Sega isn't exactly the toughest nut to crack when it comes to these kind of things. The CMGSCCC pretty much founded, or at least consolidated, the cheating scene on PSO - and fuckwads like Broomop and NuGz are just humping it's faded glory long after all the real talent got bored and moved on to other games.

Not like there was a whole lot of talent in that scene to begin with - since aside from a select few, most of their skills extended to nothing more than randomly punching values into a hex editor and seeing what happened.

i used to get disconnected most of the time with a whole bunch of lag.

but then untill i bought a D-Link wireless router with cable and DSL which cost $181.00 at best buy. now i hardly get disconnected and there are no lags.

i get dissconnected maybe at least 5 times every week.. but then just sign back on and then you are on...=).. but this is for the xbox 360
