I was just curious if there was there any real reason for the collors of the squares on the floor where the decos go.I know likely nothing cept faceing but still im just curious.

Hm.. I notice the different colors for the deco squares too, but nothing special associated to them. They are just different colors.. for now, I believe.
Perhaps somedays, something might be known about that. ;]

might be the differen't sizes, the center one is the largest and makes the room deco's larger

i wish it was just a grid system where you can place deco's anywhere and rotate them, then make a wall deco so i can make a labrynth http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif
...or more like a small maze

Well i have only one other theory regaurding the squares(btw i wish there wasa grid sytem too imsurprised there isnt).I belive that perhapes the colors indicate specific spots for certain spot only decos.

For instance the spots along the walls edge are all blue includeing the two near the rooms front. In this theory they are blue for the fact that only they can have certain wall decos that either A)take up more than one space or B) must be put along flat walls.Next the yellow ones in the corners i noticed only the corners are yellow, same rule aplies here corner decos only. Then the red one in the middle, large ones only perhapes?

Well what yall think this is the only one theory who else has one?

It would be interesting to see decorations that took up more than one square. Perhaps they'd have to be the same colour to insure that they wouldn't collide with other objects or something.

The item databse lists a few decorations that come in pieces, like the two-part model of the Landeel.

Hey thanks for the links candor, despite being on site i know alot of people(myself included) have neglected realy browesing the database.

Now the question is can those be put anywhere;or does the theory hold true that 2 part ones can only be used on blue squares?

Also an adition to my earlier theroy.I have a feeling that the yellow squares may not be just for corner decor. To me ,after seeing the ragan heads cut right in half, large archway type decos make sense. This occurs to me for one big reason. The ONLY spot in the room with 4 squares lined up is along that wall. Also with 2 squares seperating them rather then one it would be a nice semicircle archway.

Imagine those ragan heads put in the blue ones with some cool backdrop for em.

You know what I blame? Feug shui.
So there's the two headed dragon of doom and the airship Landeel. I wonder if there could be any others.
Discuss speculation of >1 spaced decorations!

Wouldn't furniture be cool? Like a two part sofa or something?

That occured to me as well i mean it is like your liveing room. Also it would be a 3 part sofa id bet.As the space between chars siting is about the squares center to center anyhow(hmmm interesting no?).A love seat for two, with sunflowers on the side http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Hm, I guess it follows the 'collectible' [almost gashapon] theme, but after checking out the Landeel, it seems to me that Sega weren't trying very hard with the >1 space decorations. Even if I had both pieces, I wouldn't display that thing.

After browsing the Perfect Bible, I didn't see anything else that resembled a 2-part decoration. One can hope...
