Are the servers down for maintenance? PS2/PC

I haven't been able to log on for the last 24 hours. I get an error message that says the servers may be down for maintenance and to check the official site maintenance page. I checked the page = nothing.

I logged on today at 2:30 pm (EST). I signed off like 2 hours ago after being afk for another 2 hours. I guess its just you. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Edit:

Nope, I just logged on. Try disconnecting your modem and router's power cable for a little bit. It normally helps with me when I have connection issues.

My connection is good... I get passed the DNAS, and log in, and when it checks for system updates, I bog out and get the maintenance message....

I've been on for about an hour, no problems at all. I was getting those errors last night though.

Well, they sure managed to bill me just now for the next thirty days. I wish the game servers had the same level of support that the billing site has....

No dude its just sega's fucked up server.

Well, I haven't had any issues. And error 51 is known to be caused by security software, though thats usually right after the ESRB and license agreement bit...

I don't want to try later. I want a service number that I can call for an answer. I cant find an actual phone number on the PSU site.

PS2 here. No connection problems. I've been logged on the past hmm.... 8 days or so straight with no disconnects.

On PC i have had the problem and I had to reinstall to fix it, but you might have to reset your router or set up the router to port forward to your ps2.
