Moon Atomizer X?

so during a rank Neudaiz Relics runs today (of which i was the party leader) a teammate of mine died w/o a scape doll and was saying if we used a Moon Atomizer X on him it wouldn't effect S rank. I said it would still count as a death but no one had a Moon Atomizer X to revive him.
was he just saying this cause he thought i was going to boot him? ( not saying that i was going to)
Honestly ive never used a Moon Atomizer X on anyone before so i cant say for my self

any one ever done this cause i still dont believe him

I've been in a game where I had to Moon Atomizer someone and still got an S-Rank. I think maybe it'd work?

It counts as an incapacitation. So you won't get an S, only an A (sorry Velos).

HEY GUYS LETS BOOT THIS PLAYER BECAUSE HE DIED EVEN THOUGH IT REALLY DOESNT MATTER IF WE BOOT HIM SINCE WE WILL STILL JUST GET A LOWER RANK.
