When PSO for the GC (and BB as well I believe) the Spread Needle became Ranger only, as well as had its range and power cut back.

And since this is a cannon type weapon, it will be FortGunner only, and probably not too strong since Laser Cannons kind of blow at the moment. So what are you so worried about?

Even if it wasn't hacked, it was the most over-used weapon that pretty much ruined the game because every Hunter, Ranger of Force I came accross was using the blasted thing (at the time.) Hopefully Sega will "avoid" putting in such an annoying type of weapon.

The only time the Spread Needle was a bad weapon was on the DC. After GC and BB it was a fairly well balanced weapon. It lost quite a bit of power, no longer had a rifle's range, but to make up for those losses its special was boosted and worked very well.

You are getting all bent out of shape for nothing man. The Spread Needle was a great weapon, but I don't see that happening with the Needle Cannon... for Christ's sake, we don't even know if it will even be similar to a Spread needle outside of looks.

Forces and Rangers both get some beloved weapons back, but where is the love for Hunters? Closest thing we get is a agito. Ahem, sorry, a Agito replica. How the hell is a replica an S rank above 10 stars. In pso, to be something around 11 stars, it had to be some ancient legendary weapon with mysterious properties. That was my favorite and most satisfying part of finding a good weapon, It was a one of a kind thing, which most of the time had replicas as crappy 9-10 star items (Nei's claw, Real Nei's claw, Flowens sword, Real Flowens swords, DB's saber, DB's sword....)

Isn't there some legendary power on Parum/Neudaiz/Moatoob that doesn't have to be synthed? You shouldn't be able to make an uber weapon, you can't make something with the power of the Heaven's Punisher, Pyscho wand (even though it is in there, it is probably a replica.)or Lavis-type weapons and the oritiagito. Some of the uber weapons in PSU are just dumbed down versions of the "legendary Weapon." It'll probably say that in most descriptions too. I guess that could explain how a supposed unique one-of-a-kind weapon could be possessed by a bunch of people at the same time. But I guess it just sorta depresses me. Besides the Relics, the planets all seem so fake...

Also, the fact that we have three planets make me less inclined to care if one of them is seed infected. We still have 2 more. In PSO, Ragol was our last hope, and without it, we had no where to go.

I find that the single biggest attribute PSU is lacking at the moment is that old, PSO-style mad rush for that dream rare weapon, which allows the grinding aspect of the game to be more bearable.

Actually, I have a cold that apparently hurts like the demons of hell itself right now. It sucks, but oh well. Due to the fact of how keeping a positive view can conquer this, I have to direct willpower to stopping people from using flamethrowers (using a water hose on people) and getting over this stupid cold. It's so frustrating, really.
Remember, Choja + thread = chaos. And also, apparently Sega though it'd be funny to make a De Ragan Slayer sword. again. It's just hilarious they're doing it again. Army of Fortefighters with every one of them carrying it running towards the two headed bastard dragon, anyone? ;)
