Newman defense saves lives!

Funny(awesome) thing happened tonight: my Newman defense caused me to get knocked AWAY every time a Bil De Vear started spinning, instead of getting stuck inside of it. Needless to say, I was one of the only party members to not get taken to/below half-hp by the spins!

Who says low defense will get you killed?

Armor-appearance related question: When you block, does the little energy-shield that pops up differ from armor Ranks? I know that GRM, Yohmei, and Tenora 'shields' are blue, green, and red respectively, but I think my B-Rank 'shield' is different than a C-Rank one. It's bigger and more fancy.

lol. Just make sure you're not surrounded by monsters. Once those Bildes knock you, then you get blocked by the few little worms, then they continue knocking you around till' death~

But yea, I loved how defense works like that. How there are advantage in disadvantages.

Newman defense saves YOUR life but it does not save a forces life. However I can't help but admire those who continue to play the melee role as newmans. I just couldn't deal with the limited resources I had as one.
