Yeah, but Rangers use elements for status effects, not for 4% extra damage.

Yes, they will, we have the PA's for them offline, they just need to bring them online.

Theres a a thread below this one showing a list of PAs. One was the darkshot or something for rifle.

More like 23% extra if you bother to lv the BA past 21. And I just want the darks shots and their virus effect.

Hmm, im just gonna throw this out there, but is the dark elements virus effect basically just a beefed up version of poison?

I think it's a better version of Fire, but don't quote me on that.

And I was unaware the % goes up after 21. Being a Fighgunner, my Bullets cap out at 20.

I believe it's dependent on the actual type of bullet. Bow bullets, for example, get quite a bit of an elemental modifier from the start.

They need to hurry the hell up then, cause dude, I have been wanting so bad to shoot white bullets. I can taste it, cause my trigger fingers are so itchy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if i recall, light and dark bullets are actually ultimate PA's, which means that they are only available after the game gets an update that the JP servers havent even got, and on top of that you need 99 PA fragments to get one.

I think a Light Grenade launcher would be particularly devestating, since you can use the splash dame to hit wide groups of enemies in the back of a group, and confuse causes enemies to tear eachother apart.

And infect, poison and burn all do the same thing, just in different variables. Burn does 5% of enemies total HP every 5 seconds for something like 20 seconds, and infect does 5% of total hp every 7 seconds for something like 50 seconds. I dont know the stats on poison at all, and i might be wrong about infect, but basically:

Burn is for enemies with High HP, but low defense, since they wont be around real long but they will take heavy damage.
Infect is for enemies with high HP and high defense, since thy take forever to kill anyways and youll end up doing more damage in the long run.

They are normal bullets; I know JP already has dark.

ya i heard light/dark bullets are normal buyable bullets, the advanced ones your thinking of are the megid bullets.

Virus does more damage than fire, and virus can actually finish off an enemy, where fire would leave them with 1 hp

Can't wait for virus bullets either... *licks lips*

if i remember the numbers right, fire at lv4 SE does 5% of the mobs HP every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. Virus does 5% of the mobs hp every 2 seconds for 30 seconds.

so i think i'll be getting it for my rifle, and leave the little guys in missions with fire on them, it just deals the damage fast enough to make a difference in a group. The dark bullets can be for the bigguns that i'd be able to poison at SE4 lol
