Nobody gains more exp than the other, and since there is no LFG time in this game, all jobs lvl at the same rate. People will want your Fortetechter more in their parties, but all you do is join a party already made and there you go.

Depends on the level. Early one its much harder for a force to land the killing blow than it is for a Hunter, and that by itself distances the exp they take in.
