Multiple computer question

I want to buy a temporary subscription to see how much I like playing PSU online, but I'm leaving on a trip soon. Once I subscribe, would it be possible for me to take my disk with me on my trip, install it on my friend's computer and play from there using my SEGA ID?

Yep. I did this awhile ago while housesitting for a friend of mine. I installed the software, ran the updates, and from there I was able to play as if I were playing from home.
