PSO-World has confirmed the existence of an exploit which allows players to purposely and maliciously steal room decorations from another player's room and reset that player's Partner Machine. Until an official resolution has been reached by Sega on this matter, we are recommending that all players take extreme caution to protect their valuable items and partner machinery.

For protection against this exploit, we recommend that you do the following:

1. Remove your room decorations on all characters with a shop, locked or not.

2. Close your player shop on any characters that have a Partner Machine that you want to keep safe.

2b. If you want to continue operating your player shop, while protecting your PM, close the shop and re-open it on an alternate character which has a level 0 PM already.

3. Do NOT give your partner card to any suspicious players, as this may increase your chances of an exploiter getting into your room.

If you have been a victim of this exploit, lock your room immediately and take screenshots of your visitor log. Then, please let Sega know by submitting a report using their online form:

http://www.phantasystaruniverse.com/support_contact.php

Please include information such as your player ID and name. If you were able to retrieve a list of recent visitors to your room, be sure to send them the names and player IDs of those as well.

It is important to let Sega know of this problem so that it can be resolved as quickly as possible.

/edit Arislan edited for clarity. Locking your shop does *nothing* to protect against this. It operates regardless of a locked or unlocked shop. Your shop items are not at risk however, only PM name/level/decorations. Take care.
