But like the mod said it was a N64, not GC. Mods are always right yo, don't question that.

Smash was on both N64 and GC, but the N64 originally wasn't purple launch color, so...

To tell you the truth, it's hard to tell what it is. The GC doesn't have the cart slot on top like the system in the picture doesn't and the N64 isn't purple. Maybe the author wanted to allure to both systems considering both had Zelda come out as an exclusive late in both console's life spans, late enough to consider them dead.

Where do you see a card slot?

The grey is the front panel, where you plug in the pads and the Memory Cards.
