My controller broke/malfunctioned according to my computer. Is it really playable with just the keyboard?

Um yea I have been playing with the key board since luanch and I never had a problem with it.

To be honest , keyboard sux with psu >.>.. i cant play keyboard for 10mins, get a new controller =/ , a 360 controller is very dependable.

I play with the keyboard just fine. Aiming is no issue either.

I was actually thinking of getting a 360 controller, but I just wanted to know peoples opinions on the keyboard control

Most ppl i know use controllers instead of keyboard, as it also depends on what job ur playing as.

Any input method is fine as long as you personally can adjust to it. I always used a keyboard on FFXI even on a PS2. Using a controller on that game just felt off. At the same time there were people that could never get used to using a keyboard on it. PSU really is the same way. Some people just can't get used to certain input devices. The key thing is just finding the one you're most comfortable with.

You can manage with a keyboard and some people actually prefer it moreso than a gamepad, but I personally greatly prefer a gamepad. You can pick up cheap USB PS2-clone gamepads for under $20 at a lot of places. But try it with the keyboard first (remember to go into Options and set up your keys first) to see if it's manageable first.

I know I could adjust to the keyboard but after playing PSO GC for so long I am just really used to the controller. I use a 360 controller and it works really well except for lack of rumble in games but it is no big deal.

The standard 360 controller is USB correct? I use a keyboard for FFXI, but because of the interface I want to pick up a controller for PSU.
