Tell me this, why would someone "kill" a Crea Double instead of buying it? Sure chances are a cheater did it but I highly doubt a cheater would kill a rare weapon such as that instead of duping the cash to purchase it. . .

The board was already in his PM. Someone stuffed it full of Agtaride boards to nullify all the current ones; including the Crea Double board.

Guess you can't discover something true till you find out for yourself. Also in one of my previous post i posted screenshots of the information with your name blurred out. Anywho if your room is locked and people search for your shop they cannot gain access to it since it would require a password to gain access to the shop itself. Your best bet is to open a shop on an alt and have it take care of all the business.

I don't think it's so much jealousy as just dislike of PSOW and its members who, generally, dislike cheating. I was reading a message board where people who do this kind of stuff go and some of the comments were like, "Yay! A new way to do such and such cheat. Somebody go get a video of doing it to someone from PSOW!" So someone was probably browsing the message boards here just looking for a picture with a PSOW member's character name in it to go after.

Also, I suppose attacking random peoples' empty rooms isn't very satisfying. But if you get a message board poster's character then that makes the person seem a little bit more "real".

Yeah, god forbid someone be excited about something they found that's rare. I normally hold a high dose of respect for you, but that didn't need to be said. now take our current situation with the massive theft going on targeting PSOW members in specific for the most part wich 50% of our forum is comprised of post about it right now and its like me posting that i just found a million dollars in the local paper when the entire town just got layed off work and local gangs started forming to bust into houses for food to stay alive and f'n godizlilla is on the loose.

hell im a military man i know my surroundings, i can care less if you dont like what i said i bet you dont like the fact we have to kill people every day over seas eather. but i have been there and done that so im a diffrent type of person than you so respect who i am if anything.

New information about the My Room exploit I guess, didn't know you could insert boards. And no, locking your room will do nothing. They aren't going to your room through any real normal means. They have your player ID, and they essentially make the server think they are you. So the server doesn't think to ask a password... Since it's you.

Sorry bout the loss, that sucks royally. Hopefully Sega can/will do something about that.

Well DJ if nothing else ill do some runs with you to help you farm for another board.

I don't feel it was his fault for having lost the item. People seem to forget that a choice was made by another person to go in and bomb his PM til the board was wiped. Accountability goes only so far and in this situation i dont feel that DJ should have been burned in the forums for it. I mean come on this is PSOW we should stick together rather than harshly point out a person's deficeincies in handling sensitive info.

ViciousUSMC I sincerely appreciate the time you spent overseas protecting our national interests and contributing to maintain our ability to enjoy what we have. Do me a huge favor though please dont throw that up in the forums, honestly this is a game and what we do in real life has little to no baring in game other than we all pay to play. We are all equal here.

A few things that can be done:

1. Don't stick the board in til you have all your mats and you can safely craft or attempt to craft the item in question.

2. I hate to say it but dont antagonize these people until a fix is in place if a fix can be made for this type of behavior. Does this mean run and hide? No; if you know the dog is going to bite dont stick your finger through the fence. Dont advertise you have a super rare item in your posession.

3. Play with the people you know first and foremost. If you keep your thoughts to yourself when in an open party you are less likely to draw attention.

4. Wipe any data off your sig pointing to an ingame character name.

I am an outspoken person as a general rule, no i do not enjoy having to play the game by the above standards when joining an open room.

Im not advocating for the people perpetuating these acts against psow members. I'm just tired of seeing good people get their hard work trashed. I dont foresee any solution to this happening barring shutting down the servers :/ The bug is in the software and the software isnt going to be replaced enmasse unless a large number of people request it stateside. Im willing to bet that those of us that have legitly raised partner machinery/crafted a ranks would be at serious odds on this one.

What choices are left to us as a player base?
