Gear progression in story mode

Alright, I'm up to chapter 11 in story mode and I can only just now buy 6* gear and boards. I would think that, being this close to the end of the game, I could at least buy A-Rank gear. What's the deal here? Am I missing something?

I think A-rank gear is available towards the end of chapter 11, or during chapter 12. Betting on 11 though. New gear seems to become available whenever you run into Bruce again.

You can synth A ranks at some point. Check the synth shop in the Colony for rare sounding items. They should cost between 100-200k to synth if you buy or make everything. Alternatively, you can buy S ranks for 600k.

you can synth A ranks in story mode the only A rank i seen there was G.R.M.'s Hardline *snickers* hard lol

that brings something up thats been bugging me, does the kubara swap work offline? you know for the guns and bows?

A is the highes t you can do in story excluding the svaltus, or so i have seen

I'm assuming it does, but I have found zero kubara wood offline, so I can't make sure.

Supposedly Kubara Wood is only found in Sleeping Warriors offline.

Speaking of rare materials, anybody know where I can get Nanoresin?

ive seen nanoresin drop in the hive. it might drop in the other 2 lvl 60 missions though.

i only EVER got 1 nanoresin from hive, as for kubara it also drops in HIVE but spam 'whats in the ruins' the lvl 15 relics on parum east dist (you get it in the big room with 5 boxes that need smashing for enemy spawn).
