EDIT: As much as I hate Spears... that PA is AMAZING. The Sword is very disappointing, cause I love Swords and Tornado/Spinning Break, and that's just not so interesting. Twin Saber, Double Saber and Double Dagger are cool too.

Wow are you guys serious? These suck ass PA's look like SEGA just put a bunch of shit together into one, nothing synch's together, I mean look at the spear, the way he slides on the spear looks cool but it just does not match when he just stops and stabs many times down while airborne, then a slash. IMO SEGA should not have tried so hard to "think out of the box" and put some thought into the PA's or just made that stab down part of the PA an independent PA itself. Now that I look closer, it isn't the hands that are stubbs, but rather it's like the old rocket fists where a shell of the weapon is left on the hand.

Online yes, but not right now for the US version. Extra mode, no.. Not without a mod/hack item to unlock them. The JP's got one released that they use to show off some of the stuff, we don't have one that I'm aware of.


On topic though. That spear PA is so LoL. Wonder how effective it is though.

If you look closely, you can see that the player's hands are still intact, and that the whole knuckle shoots off. No left over knuckle stub. Just hands.

the first part of the fist PA looks really cool, like that hundred punching move that Ryo from King of Fighters does and the last part with the knuckles flying away reminds me of a Mazengar Punch, pretty perfect for a CAST.

Twin Dagger is almost disappointing. I was hoping the weapon was going to continue to be somewhat defensive/aoe in addition to multi-hit. Kinda like the one we have now.

Well I was wondering, cause if the first hit is knockdown, then it makes the PA a whole lot better. Imagine surfing on a mob, knocking them down, then giving them 50 million stabs when they're down, then knocking them away with the final hit.

They're just as disappointing as their melee counterparts. The Nos line of spells are homing spells that explode when they hit their enemies. The ball itself is the size of a human head, and it takes five seconds for the spell to go off, doing decent amounts of damage. It's nice if you don't like aiming, though.
Megid you've seen, it does damage and has a chance to kill. Giresta revives (Gee, that's useful) and gives a regen effect, I believe in an AoE.
So yeah, the only ultimate PA I like is the dual claw one so far. I hope they aren't so overpowered that it makes Daggas and Roberto useless, since those actually look pretty badass.

I still want to know where DizzyDi got his sig from.

Dual claw makes your character "invisible" for a moment, too bad that you can still get hit and take damage during that "invisible" moment if anything hits where your shadow is. They're all too much "show off" mode to be usefull, the twin dagger *might* replace the first twin saber one for flipping monsters, that's about it.

I've got more expectations on megid and some of the ranged "ultimate" PAs.
