New update on the.....

Next Update: January 12Due to the holiday week as well as the New Year, the next major update will hit the Phantasy Star Universe servers on January 12. Since the gap is a bit longer than normal, this release will be considerably larger than previous updates. Take a look at what we have planned for this release!

-All new Mission Type available within Moatoob!
-Many new clothes types, including the Swimsuit!
-Brand new Photon Abilities, Bullet Types, and TECHNICS
-Level cap increased to 70!
-Chapter 3 of the new and exciting GUARDIAN Missions
-Weapon and Synthesis items up to Rank 10!
-New room items, decorations, and more!
-All of this content makes for one of the most action packed updates yet!

I was hoping for S-rank Grove of Fanatics but I'm not really complaining, this works too.

When they say "weapon and synthesis ranks up to level 10" am I correct in assuming that means we can purchase them from an NPC?

First off Chibi Orson is amazing in Record of Lodoss so is Parn but Orson is amazing... moving on.

Another mass content update really can't complain except for the fact that low and behold once again the update is right before the next payment period, funny how that works. Then again this is my first pay mmo though can't think of anyone in the past that released new content and then (if keeping with a recurring schedule with when the game came out) have ya stick for another month. While the updates are pretty cool the security of the game itself still seems lacking and at least from a semi-programmer perspective why keep adding new things to your program/game if you haven't worked out the currenty bells and whilstles that don't jingle or make a tune ^_^;;;. I think i'll come back to PSU June/Julyish of next year and see how it's evolved, either that or hop over to JP server still undecided x.x.

Sidenote: Hope someone can prove me wrong with the whole release new content when those who were hear from the beginning are going to camp around for it deal x.x... also all through december and nothing annouced for next week wtf o_O.

If you'd bothered to read the VERY FIRST POST in this thread, you would've had your answer: There will be no more weekly updates until Jan.12, due to the holidays. However, it will be a sizeable update to compensate for the delay.

It was stated in the article pertaining to IGN's first update (where it said we'd get 10 S rank missions) that we'd be getting the S rank missions throughout December. No where did it say we'd be recieiving Weekly updates from then on.

If you're talking about the Ranger nerf/buff (which shouldn't even affect you anymore, because no one's a Basic Class anymore) we got it on release. The balancing was done before we got the game. It had already been sorted out when you made your character.
