Check that link, it's to the PSU item database for a Black Heart Slot Unit....Extra.

How did this guy get this? It's obviously on US Server and I am like???

Sorry if it's an obvious answer...but I don't know what that is so I hope someone can tell me.

Its literally extra, you don't really have to do it if you have online- and already bored yourself through story mode.

But if you only had offline and wanted some PSO like dungeon crawling for teh RARZ, its there.

And those units should be around later, online.

I'd rather play FF1-12 over PSU extra mode any day, especially when it comes to FF7 (Which is a game i play everyday atleast an hr).

Extra mode wasn't good at all from a videogamer's perspective, and I don't think it was meant to be. It's basically just story mode with no missions (which is what made it fun, apart from the story elements) and the choice to make your own character. Regardless, don't play it if you're already online, though story mode is probably worth a play.

you have to have an internet connection to even play this game offline. Kinda like Half-Life 2, you need an internet connection for Steam so you can play it

As for FF, yes good RPG's, yes FFVI >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>FFVII, cause FFVII is highly overrated. Good yes, but not that good. There are tons of other good RPGs as well such as the Seiken Dentsu series or the Tales of... series. I haven't played the story mode, and don't plan to, that is not why I bought this game.

I'd rather play with a pile of rabid dog crap littered with rusty razor blades than the PSU offline mode.

Although, I'll be honest... it would be hard for me to tell the difference.

PSU Offline-
BESIDES the cliche and the horrid dubbing it's another single player hack and slash. Playing the story helps you understand Episode 2 alittle and your get an Airboard from Ethan if you complete it. Story Mode isn't all that bad.

Story Mode is meh. Even if you play through it you'll still be like "wtf mate?" when you start the first act of the online story. Granted you'll understand a little bit more than someone who didn't play the story but still.

If you pretend there are 999999999 copies of Magashi then you already figured out the story.

That DOES drop online in the JP version though... But for you US people, you won't see it till you get the new Moatoob missions (not bruces' other ones)

Grandia was actually awesome. That and Legend of Dragoon.

Story mode on PSU is worth playing through. It kinda sucks until the last few chapters though. A free 1000 gamerpoints isn't bad though ^_^;

Too bad it still hasn't been released OFFICIALLY in America for anyone who has missed out on playing the translated rom... It'd be perfect for DS multiplayer or something.
