For those asking what our prizes were: For my first place finish, I recieved a 8* weapon of my choice (I chose Rod, obviously), a 20% Ice Sori-senba shield line, and 100,000 meseta. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I dare say that the Sori will be getting a fair share of use... just as soon as I have 56 DFP. =/

neutral armor best :/ fire and ice monsters there, sure you take less dmg from barta (wich you can dodge most of the time) but then when a tennydog bites you with a crit your gonna die in 1 hit... why not take medium damage from both that you can heal yourself after, instead of facing a 1 hit death with a fire/ice armor :/

I have tried both ways since I have a 36% fire armor and a 36% ice armor.. and yeah thats what happens. If your wearing one or the other the mobs that can kill you tend to want to target you more http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Take advantage of that high magic resistance we have in the first place and suck it up (barta) the fire mobs tho use meele most of the time.

Dont take my word for it tho, those worms can kill you fast with ice armor on as well.

Oh, I know, I already had ice armor that I swapped in and out. I've mastered quick armor shifting. XD

And really, I only use it for the buffed Olgohmons. Even with our great MST, I still take over 400 damage from their Barta, and since I'm a Gi- technic lover, I tend to not be able to dodge so much. =>.>=;;
