I need FKL's semi-serious opinion

I want to make a Protranser on PSU. I'm currently a level 41 Newman at Guntecher 3 as some of you may know ;D

Now, I don't want any advice on race choice. . . I have level 6 ranger and level 3 force. At such a late level, is it worth it to gain access to Protranser and then level it up or should I just stick with Guntecher and make a new character?

If you want to be a Protranser, just do it. Oh no, you might not be as effective for some levels; as long as you have fun playing as what youre playing as, who cares?

Personally I think you're a little too far into Guntecher to be switching. You're not THAT far in, but still kinda far. As a newman PT you'll struggle, moreso than any other race protranser, especially for the first few job levels.

I don't use half the guns from Protranser. . . Hmm. New character is sounding for and more feasible.

So much money spent on A rank weapons. . . Lots of skills too >_>

I think I will make the new character. Not that I won't make a good Protranser on my main character but there's so many skills that I've forced my self to level. . . if you use lots of tech as a newman than I won't go protranser but if you barely use techs than go for it but since you will be using skills and bullets I would just delete all your techs unless you decide to switch between the 2 jobs.

Newman Prontranser at job 1 will have insanely low hp early on. Lower than fortetecher. Honestly protranser to me seems like a crappy job, a ranger type with no rifle is criminal

For race I would pick Cast or Human. Humans get a pretty large favored type bonus for the job, something like 5% bonus to all stats
