synthing stat affecting PM's performance?

I have been wondering if the actual stats of the PM affect their damage, defence, acc, etc.. in battle.

For example if I have a pure Tech PM, won't their attack spells deal more damage compared to impure ones?

Is this has been tested/confirmed?

No. The PM's type (GH-410 through GH-450) determines its battle prowess. The stats affect only Synthesis %s.
