If you notice, access time has been DRAMATICALLY improved as well as ease of accessing individual threads and pages. This all comes to an upgrade in the software which was used to manage the forums. Unfortunately, there are some kinks that still need to be worked out. Example: For your user selected theme to work you need to log off your account and log back on from the "Your Account" menu. Clicking "Exit" will log you off. (This only has to be done once.) If you notice anything dramatic that needs immediate attention, please feel free to e-mail the staff at [email protected]">[email protected] and let us know. Thanks to each and every one of our PSO World users for their continued support of the site.
On the technical side of the house, you may notice each forum now has multiple moderators. This is to better administer the content of the forums and keep the flow of things. The previous version of the forum software did not allow this and it is a welcome new addition to PSO World.
According to insiders a game "similar" to Phantasy Star Online is to be revealed for Gamecube at E3 next week. Two sources have confirmed today that several Gamecube games will be shown at the expo. Sega is to show at least 10 title behind closed doors on the Sega stand, including Xbox, PlayStation 2 and Game Boy Advance product. Rumours have been circulating for some time that Sega and Nintendo were collaborating on an online RPG playable across both Dreamcast and Gamecube. Early indications point to something slightly different, possibly even a completely exclusive PSO title for the Nintendo machine, not Phantasy Star Online 2 as previously thought. Naka-san, the head of the legendary development team behind the Dreamcast classic, is known to be fully discussing the second instalment on the Sega console. Sega is holding a press conference at E3, and I will be there to give PSOW the low-down. Looks like big news is going to be announced!!!!!!!
