Conversation Between PhotonDrop and trypticon

  1. I was putting together a Disney comic for a bit, but grew weary of writing the script, when the script was supposed to mirror an actual place, and that actual place was changing constantly. It made going back and making revisions very tiresome. I had a lofty goal for the end, and the fact of the matter is, I didn't even get to the halfway point before it was simply overwhelming. Now, less than a year after I last worked on, several of the locations that I wrote scenes for don't even EXIST anymore!

Other than that, I've been itching to write another screenplay for the PSO bullshit. It's not something that would get filmed, of course, but I'd like to use some of the old characters I used to include in my stupid films from when I used to make them. I don't know, make it like a radio play, or maybe an audio story or something like that.
  2. It's a bit of a trick registering since you have to enter a Captcha code in Japanese. When I signed up I had to cross-reference the symbols with a chart and use an online JP keyboard to get it. After that I had no issue connecting to the servers and I'm on the east coast of the US.

What kind of stuff have you been doing? I kinda miss those old tutorials you put together.
  3. Nah, I haven't tried PSO2. I don't even know if I have a computer that could run it. I probably do, but I'm not sure.

I also don't know if I could even get on it, since I'm in the US.

I have to admit, it looked kind of neat, but I saw way too much jumping and flipping in the preview videos. I don't blame people for doing that, though, because it used to bug the heck out of me that I couldn't hop, at least a little, to gain some higher ground in some areas in episodes 1 and 2. In fact, I adored that I could roll through crap on PS Zero, even if the game kind of blew, otherwise.

Nah, these days, I'm just working on voicing stuff. I'd love to put some projects together for people here to do, but I think most of the people who knew me flew the coop years back, and again, I don't blame them.
  4. Yeah, I know how that feels. Have you tried PSO2? I played for a while earlier this year but it didn't quite hook me like PSO used to. It was a heck of a lot better than PSU for sure, but still not quite the same.
  5. I've been doing fine enough. I never really left this place, but it might be a few months to a year or so before I log back in. Other than that, I'd just look at the dead forums maybe once or twice a month and see the same messages at the top of the page almost always.
  6. Hello Adam, it has been a long time! I could never leave this place. No matter how I try I always come back eventually.

    How have you been?
  7. It's probably been perhaps eight years, or more, since I saw you online, PhotonDrop. At that time, you were one of my favorites online. I was surprised, since I never really log on here, and haven't played in a long long time, myself, to see that you logged onto this site, yourself, less than an hour ago.

I mean, that's just strange. Most of the people I used to play with haven't logged onto this site in months, at least, if not years. They might still check it from time to time, but they don't log in. You, however, did just that, and I think that's cool, but scary, at the same time.

Why is it scary? I don't know. Most likely, it is scary for dramatic purposes, only.

Why is it cool? It's cool, because it's just unexpected.

I hope life is treating you well, old friend. Have a great day!
  8. Wow, you were online here just two days ago!? I miss gaming with you.
