Ah, yes, that's the one! I first heard it on the local techno/electronica/dance music station...which got shut down a few weeks ago out of nowhere. Now all we have is shtity pop stations, but sometimes they play that song, and a few others I like, like this one by Cazette, for instance. I love those kinds of songs. Thanks, I didn't know the name of the artist for 'Alive'.
I had to go and look up 'Hyperdimension Neptunia/IF', since I read that and was like 'lolwtfisthat'. But, yes, from what I remember from the brief instance of your pictures from the 'RL picture' thread, she does look quite a bit like you (so does that 'Tear' girl, as well).
You probably could ._. People seem to have this fascination with picking me up, too. I dunno man.
Hah, I've been likened to Velma before. If I had to pick a cartoon/anime character to represent me it'd have to be IF from Hyperdimension Neptunia. Stick some glasses on her and you've got me, in looks and in many ways personality :P Tear from Tales of the Abyss would be a good match too, if she looked way younger than she really is.
Oh, yeah, they would definitely be calling you a Valley Girl then, if you say 'like' all the time, hehe.
My temper stems from having a short amount of patience with rude people, due to having put up with them, extensively, my whole life thus far. However, I'm getting better at ignoring said people's cruel antics. But hey, 'short and bespectacled' makes me picture you like Velma from Scooby Doo, except with more modern clothes and longer hair. I think I'd be able to lean my elbow on your head!
Yeah, probably :P Also because I can be a complete ditz sometimes. I say "like" way too much >_>
I have quite a temper myself, but fortunately I've built up a lot of patience over the years. When I do get pissed I can be pretty fiery (German/Irish heritage!) but it takes me a while to get there. Short bespectacled girls can be angry too.
I'm mostly Italian (which explains my hotheadedness) with drippings of Polish, German, and French thrown in. Also, if I had to guess what your friends meant, I'd say 'able to make things awkward by unknowingly saying/doing things deemed socially inappropriate by other races', since us White-Os have, somehow, gained a reputation for being dweeby and uncomfortable, as is seen in lots media representations.
I'm mostly German, with some Irish and American Indian (I forget specifically what region). That last bit has given me a naturally-tan skin tone, which is fortunate because I'd be white as fuck otherwise. My friends say I can totally act "white girl" though, whatever that means XD
One of those mixes of every kind of European imaginable? Seems to be popular amongst us whiteys.
and yes, you are fortunate, since in today's day and age, a depressingly vast majority of people never get to do what they want to do in their lives, and are stuck doing what they 'have' to do just to eke by. I'm glad you like it though, and I bet driving new cars around is fun. I get to do it sometimes, too.
Huh, thought that meant "on the way", so I was like wut. I'm straight-up white bread.
Yeah, new job has been fun, just been busy. I can't complain though, I'm doing what I love and I'm far more fortunate than I deserve to be to have it. Every day's something different with new challenges, and I enjoy that. Driving test vehicles around isn't bad either ;P
Was just visiting random friend profiles and saw this, so 'OTW' means 'Other Than White'. Why someone would randomly ask your race out of nowhere is a bit odd (seeing as I don't know why it matters what someone is), but, internet.
Hope you're having fun in your new employment position.
Oh, that one. I was confusing it with something else. I always liked that getup, but the baggy pants were never my thing on PSU. I also agree that outfit would be very cute if it was real. It's got that spunky vibe to it.
I'd wear that set in a heartbeat IRL if it were black, just too cute. It's like, about the least outlandish normal-looking thing from that game aside from swimwear XD
I KNEW there was a thread for that before, just couldn't remember XD I like how this version turned out, though there aren't many clothing options that would make good "real world" analogs (though Oil Brink is kinda engineer-y, haha). I'd absolutely own and wear a Storia set from PSU if it were real though.
I see that! I like that 'if i was in PSO2' concept, there. I remember there was a thread for that (making a PSO2 version of yourself) back when the CC demo first came out, actually.
