The reason why there is such a big push into 3D technology is to fight against pirates. 3D requires 2 eyes, pirates have 1 eye, no 3D for pirates.

Heres' something fun to do while on the roads.
when on a two laned road, and you notice a car in your rearview speeding or tailgating do this. drive alongside another car, make sure it is going fairly slow. Continue this for a short while, then speed up slightly. this will make the car behind speed up with you. Then slow down and allow the car next to you to pull ahead. The car behind will hopefully change lanes. when this happens speed up again, and the car behind will now change lanes behind you. repeat this many times.

Mr. Burns was an army barber, chose that job out of the paper, and thus nice that he came home in a humvee, barely had time to cook a meal or urinate, so of course he had no friends. 2 story house meant trying to position up the stairs to sleep up there, better off a 1 story house and toilet next to the fridge, really.

Never tried Mario/Super Soccer/Strikers/Baseball/Golf/NBA Street V3 featuring Mario and his ankle breaking moves, also their coin collecting Basketball one on DS. Lil bro had that.

Tennis tried. Wasn't a big deal, despite it being a fun party game, older bro kept saying. Why didn't I have these Mario things for GC, you gotta have those, bro.

why is it that there are basicaly no fantasy sports games. Yeah, there is a couple here and there, but they suck. Is it the fact if you try and make one, you end up just making a non sports video game instead. A perfect example of this is Monday Night Combat, which ends up being a sports themed shooter than a shooter themed sports game.

How is it possible of a person to play a PSP for more than 10 minutes. I end up crosseyed and with severe RSI using the damm thing. This point made much worse by the fact that there are so many games on the damm thing that require serious game time in one sitting to get anything out of it.

You can't get addicted to fruit.

For some reason I always remember having fun playing the sims, but when I actualy go and play it i'm bored with it in 5 minutes or less.

Friday Freaky Freeware Freakout Funtime

So, with my new EEE Pc I thought I'd try to see if any games on the thing would work. Unfortunately they hardly do. The little thing struggles even running PSO. So, Instead I had to come up with something less taxing for the little thing. Unfortunately most of my old games are on CD's and this thing has no optical drive. What to do? I know! Good old fashioned Freeware games.

So I'm there loading my library of Freeware games that I have accumulating over the years on the the thing, when I thought “Why not review them for fun” so after a few hours and some beverages here goes.

This one takes me back to the computer labs at high school. Back in the old days when I used to scour the web in search of these fun little Freeware games. There was nothing like playing games while the teachers back was turned. Then I'd play them at home on my piece of crap computer at home, with a powerful 333mzh and 4 whole megs of video power. I had that damm thing right up until 2004.


The main Menu you mainly use

Ok enough nostalgia. Recwar is needin' a reviewin'.
So Recwar (Recreational Warfare for short) is a top down vehicle shooter. Think Quake deathmach, but on wheels. Because thats what it basically is. Hell they borrow all the sound effects and guns from that game. Railgun, BFG its all there. Other generic weapons include machine gun, Rockets, cluster launcher, fly by wire missiles, land mines and the dreaded homing missile. You start with all weapons equiped, but you can edit the bots to only use one weapon. 61 simultaneous bots are available, and trust me thats a serious clusterfuck

-Recwar Review Part2

There is 3 different and generic game modes available. Deathmatch, Team Deathmach and capture the cow (whats wrong with a flag?). The basic strategy of playing Deathmach involves 1 of 2 strategies. driving around and spamming homing missiles or driving round spamming BFG's. Well at least to the bots in this game. And guess what! It works. Because of the clunky nature of turning a FPS into a vehicle shooter, there is almost no precision when it comes to aiming. Because you can only fire in which way your turret is facing, which is pretty much always forward. You can change the direction of the turret, but its only in 8 directions and its quite clunky. You can only use the Keyboard of control, so no Gamepads. Which I would prefer. You don't have to play by your self, there is splitscreen, LAN and splitscreen LAN, so you can get some friends around and yell at each other for spamming homing missiles everywhere.


Homing Missiles! The Game!

You have a choice of 3 vehicles. Tank, Humvee and Hovercraft. Each vehicle controls differently and fires weapons differently. The hovercraft is fast but slippery, but is not effected by water. Its turret fires its machine gun in a fast spray, but it can only turn 180 degrees. The Humvee's turret only fires rockets in the direction its pointed, which it fires in a faster than normal salvo. And the tank fires almost all weapons in the direction of the turret. A good strategy with the Tank is to drive with the turret backwards and spam BFG's at chasing enemy's. A small selection of vehicles it may be, but the choices in paint jobs are big. You can use 8 patterns in any color you choose. Pink Camo, fuck yes!
