  1. Just read your info on Multiplayer Zelda. Sounds interesting. But LOL, so there IS a Zelda game (the discontinued one) that you don't have! Kidding of course, you're still a Zelda pro I know.
So you never got to actually experience the Multiplayer Zelda's (gameplay) it sounds like. They were Co-op, basically? Not like, deathmatch? Either way, I hope they do revisit it and do a better job - certainly sounds interesting.
  2. "At this point I think it's time to just let PSZ RIP, and move on (although I'll still hope for another game on 3DS or WiiU)."

^ Yes, I kinda agree. Wish they'd do a PSO on 3DS, but doubt it. And I see Nidera is trying to convince you to play online xD Tbh though, yes, AR does not damage games. Lol, I assumed you'd play PSZ forever...

I'm pretty sure Action Replay can't damage games unless it's misused. I've been using mine around 6 years and it's never caused any major/permanent damage to a single one of my games. It can sometimes cause freezing, but I just shrug that off. PSZ must never die! o:
(Like PSO on Gamecube: I know a server that still has around 20 or so Gamecubers who get on daily.)
  4. Lol, check the PSZ group page. Someone has PSZ running on a private server and is still playing online!!!
  5. Thanks for the add dude.

Next Zelda question: they were thinking of a multiplayer component added to Zelda. What do you think? If you were a designer, how would you like to see that implimented, if at all? I think it'd be cool, however, to not 'ruin' the Zelda experience, I wouldn't like a radical change (e.g. an MMO), but more like a co-op 'single player' experience in a mainstream Zelda game... Like Link and Zelda play together throughout OoT for instance, lol.
  6. 1. Lol, yeah I understand. I generally don't either, but I do believe OoT is the best game ever from the perspective of how it completely revolutionized gaming in every possible way. I used to think Shenmue was, but then played OoT and saw that it started what Shenmue continued.

    2. So yeah, I can see the HD version for Wii-U is much better. Can't wait to see how the Open World Wii-U Zelda turns out. Looks really interesting. Dude, the wall-painting mechanism in ALBW is just so ingenious, for both offense/defense and puzzles, they better include that in future Zelda's.

    3. YEah, I didn't play the original OoT, but I can see that being annoying as heck. And no map without pausing. That entire dungeon, though good, is tedious and near impossible without a guide, that's another thing. The ALBW water dungeon is much more forgiving for players who dont' want to use a guide.

3b. Lol, that sounds like a brilliant idea. If I get to play MM, I'll use that strategy. I admit I'm not happy to hear about the timed mechanism of MM though. Not sure I'll like it. I can't operate under stress. I'm the type to take my time with things, lol.

Dude, LOL, LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL xDDDDDDD Thanks so much for the link, man, that made me laugh. I guess it's a well-known joke among Zelda fanboys how that accursed owl keeps interrupting gameplay with OBVIOUS 'hints' and how just constantly pressing "A" to speed it up makes you accidentally hear it again 9/10 times. xDDDD
  7. 1. Yeah, I thought you'd say OoT. I guess that was obvious. And lol, you sound just like the IGN reviewer who also said that they spent like over 24 hours near-straight beating OoT, then went back and beat it again right after.
Also, OoT is considered by many as the best game ever created. Do you agree?

    2. I see. So, lol, you get every Zelda game that comes out, including remakes? You are the ultimate Zelda fan I did hear the sailing got repetitive. I did like the environment of sailing in WW more than the horse-back of OoT.

    3. Funny thing, I liked the water dungeon of OoT more than the other's (I played it only on 3DS by the way), but I can see how it could be a horror on N64 (not just for the Iron Boots, but pausing for the map constantly!). The water-level manipulation to me was actually a highlight. Either way, now I wonder if you'll like the ALBW water dungeon. Oh well, time will tell. About MM, man, that sounds stressful... and to be honest, not too fun, lol. I can't operate well under a clock ALONG with not being able to save, that'd drive me nuts. If they do a 3DS remake, hopefully they'll rectify that and make it more bearable somehow...
  8. Okay, first, before I forget AGAIN, lol, you should keep this for ALBW - it'll really help you 100% it: http://www.gamefaqs.com/3ds/711412-t...e=3#section169

    1. Yeah, I admit Zelda is an Action Adventure, but I also agree that before it fit the ancient definition of RPG. Afterall it is a Dungeon-Crawler game, and DC's are a subgenre of RPG. One IGN reviewer even called it an Action RPG.

    2. Gawd, I wish I could get my hands on Majora's Mask! The problem with me is that I can't STAND the old graphics for such games - honestly, even PSZ made my eyes bleed. I just can't take it - I'm an old school gamer, but I've been too spoiled. Dang-nammit I want an up-to-date Majora's mask with better graphics.
And the saving thing sounds like it sucks But dude, you don't like Zelda's water dungeons, or just MM's water dungeon? ALBW's Water dungeon is AMAZING, Much better than OoT. And you won't need a guide for it either (I didn't use a guide for the entire game, but figured it out myself EXCEPT for 2 times where it wasn't a matter of figuring out a puzzle, but was laughably me being new to Zelda and not knowing the control/mechanisms, i.e. I didn't know that Link could pick up bombs and throw them, which was needed to get past a certain puzzle xD Yes I know you're facepalming that I didn't realize that mechanism in-game & thus had to use a guide for that, lol).

    3. I wish I could have finished Wind Waker, and I loved the graphics. I love everything Cel-Shaded. In your opinion, what is better, Oot or Wind Waker? I'm sure you'll say OoT, but just asking.
I actually think I like the 2D ZElda more than OoT in a way. ALBW is perfect in it's simplicity, and is FAST in how it gets you into the action right away, as opposed to the usual slow start with many Zelda's, which I didn't like.

    4. or was it 5? Forget the numbers, lol. I see why you haven't started ALBW yet! I'm the same way kinda. You're in for a treat when you do start it! It isn't as epic as OoT though, and is much shorter - my only 2 complaints. Yet one character - that I was going to write about on GF - is one of Nintendo's best characterizations to date if he's analyzed.

    5. Lol, I think most like Mute-Link more. I really think he should be given a voice - an epic one at that.

^ Before I forget. Came out today I believe, about Zelda Wii-U. About to read your post now
  10. okay, finished reading your VM. Dude, you must be REALLY busy, or have amazing self-control. I couldn't let ALBW sit on my pack of 3DS games for more than 3 days before I had to play it. Can't imagine how you have it yet haven't fired it up. I regard it as one of the best games ever, a perfect 10/10, better than OoT (well, kinda). The funniest thing is I had NO intention of getting it due to thinking I wouldn't like 2D Zelda. Can't wait to get your opinion on it, if I'm still around here.
And though you may have heard spoilers, I wanted to discuss a point that you wouldn't want to hear until you literally beat the game, so I won't spoil it. For Gamefaqs, I didn't write the analysis only because I'm too lazy xD

Thanks for the info on Majora's Mask. It does sound incredible. Wish Nintendo would make a 3DS remake, but then we have this which is a cryptic reply about that: http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/09/...that-i-laughed

Oh, and for a true Zelda fanboy, I'm surprised you liked Wind Waker: many didn't like the cel-shade look. You also seem open minded regarding side games. Many aren't. Oh, and which Zelda side are you on: the side that opts out of Link having voice-acting, or the side that wants to keep him mute?
  11. !!!!! O.... M.... G..... I think I exploded into flames of fanboy glee when I saw that Zelda video. Holy F'ing crap that looks incredible.
  12. Lol, you're online now too...

Will read your Majora's Mask post on my VM tomorrow and reply, as I gtg.

For now, I wanted to ask you the million-dollar question: what do you consider Zelda to be? An Action Adventure or RPG? Originally, the creators said it was an RPG, as RPG's have changed in definition but didn't always equate with 'leveling up,' 'different paths,' etc. But now the ALBW manual itself calls it an action-adventure.

And also, don't know if you answered this in the post, but do you know if there is a safe way to play Majora's mask now? IGN covered the possibility of a 3DS remake, lol, the producer laughed at the question. Many - like me - would die for a 3DS remake...
  13. Nice. Man, I've wanted Wind Waker HD so badly... I had the GC version, but didn't finish it. I didn't know a traditional Zelda was coming out also, later. Can you perhaps provide a link (like IGN or something)?
I am new to Zelda technically (well, I had ALTTP for SNES but didn't play it much), so I don't know about the other Zelda's. Were they any good (the ones' you mentioned)?
And I've been dying to play Majora's Mask, I hear it's almost better than OoT. I wanted to get an emnulator, but I'm sketchy on getting ROM's nowadays like I used to: illegal and virus-ridden.
Lastly, dude, have you gotten to ALBW for 3DS yet? You said it was on your to-do list. I really wanna know what you think about it. I've been meaning to write a Gamefaqs analysis on one of the characters, but if you haven't played it yet, I don't want to spoil it for you...
  14. Hiiiiii. Lol, just found out PSO World was back up.
Anyway, so yes, Zelda Hyrule Warriors looks interesting, it's just for me, while not even a Zelda 'fanboy,' I don't like change for things that don't need changing. "If its not broken, don't fix it," you know? I presume you have a Wii-U?
  15. Dude, what's up? 'member me? Lol, we played PSZ a lot. Anyway, I remember you said you were a huge Zelda fan. Was wondering what you thought of this: Wii U - Hyrule Warriors E3 2014 Trailer - YouTube
OMG, I'm wondering if Zelda fans (like you) are crying Blasphemy! This doesn't look like the Zelda I know. Wondering what your thoughts about it are...

Well, I added your PSZ info (The one on this page of yours) to the google docs memberlist but I dunno how up-to-date it is. Also it still needs a timezone. I probably shouldn't be jumping the gun like this but I guess I just wanted to see the info up there. Your friend codes haven't changed at least, have they? I'm guessing not but I want to make sure.
