My professor once told me this when I was going through depression in 2015:

"Find something that you like and stick with it. Once you do, you will begin to understand yourself. If not, then you do not know yourself enough. Now tell me what do you like?"

Never in a million years would I have ever thought that I find this screenshot in my laptop after multiple memory wipes and clean ups.

3 years........sounds so short and yet so long ago.

Trying to remember the names from left to right:
    -Squall
    -Gene
    -lol Sac XD
    -Kelly
-IDK, probably either spear wielding duded or dude that kelly had a high school girl crush on
    -(above him) random chick XD
    -Rhed
-The guy who pissed me off and made me left the group
    -Aria
-And the 3 in the background I have no idea who they were but I think they where Aria's guild buddies.

............now if you'll excuse me, I need to find Mr. Depression and Mrs. Nostalgia again.

None of them are sequels to each other with the exception of Xilla and Xilla 2 and Berseria being a prequel to Zestria. They all share a common theme in that the game's title is the game's theme.

So anywhere is fine, but if you're asking me:

    1.) Tales of Sypmphonia
-It's the one that started the popularity of the Tales series in the West
-Was on sale last week for $5 on Steam (which I got)
    -$19.99

    2.) Tales of Berseria
    -Great combat, characters, and story
-Prequel to Zestiria which was a major flop in the series (but you do not need to play zestiria to understand Berseria)
    -Is on Steam and PS4
-$49.99 (I got mines bit cheaper thanks to pre-order)

3.) Tales of Xilla and Xilla 2 if you have the cash.
-Xilla is great with a great cast and story
-Xilla 2 is a direct sequel (something that the Tales series is not used to)
-Xilla 2 focuses on player choice with it affecting dialogues and I think 2 or 3 possible endings.
    -PlayStation only

    4.) Tales of Abyss
-IDK, I just heard it was good but can't seem to find a copy.

With the exception of Zestiria, you can always expect a great cast of characters and a fantastic story with at least 50+ hours of gameplay.

Hadn't done that challenge yet because I can't deal with the avatar's characteristics anymore, let alone with over 90 chapters + grind. My hatred for one-noted and naive characters continues to grow. Only survived the first playthorugh because I gave the avatar my own characteristics and changed the dialogue with my brain..............I also did not had any other games to play the time and the kid's DLC storyline was much better than all 3 main stories together.

Welp, I best be ready to suffocate and die tomorrow or Saturday. Should be finished with Berseria's main quest, but I probably go for 100% and do all of the achievements even if I have to go back to earlier save points. 9.5 / 10 would recommend

    -Great Characters, everyone felt important.
    -One hella-of-a-story
    -Very fun and immersive combat

-downside is that the game is over 60 hours long
-the dubb, while good, needs some small tweeking *looking at you Eizen dubb*
