Glad you're having a lot of fun at your new job. Seems so totally awesome and it couldn't have gone to a more driven and dedicated person.

I'm doin' alright. A bit tired, but nothing too terrible. Weather's nice, so I getta wear all my fun cool summer clothes out now, so that's always good. Probably gonna have a nice chill evening and play some Sleeping Dogs I think. Whatcha got planned for the evening?

It's decent, and if you are a fan you will get a lot of it alright. I am not a big fan what so ever and I was able to figure it out most of the time. Even if I had no clue what was going on. It has some action and a screen in it, that hits home with you. I hope you catch it. I give you a hint, all black but barely on or shown and? It was for a few seconds too! I hope you enjoy watching it too.

Well that is good news. I know that is always fun and a painful part, helping others. I offered to help many and even got hit and bite for only trying to help. Also I took out a few people to star trek as a helpful thing too. Just me being nice like usual. Also made only noodles today since the rest was slow cooking. Then made a salad. All was good until I talked to one guy, that always seems to start things with me and them blame it on me, as my fault. Which always turns out nicely. >.> Also my dogs are doing good. I should show you them sometime too.

:O I made a big ol batch o' wings for me and myself! I'm just gonna sit around, gettin' fat, and watchin' TV or maybe playing a game. This is how true party people get down! Would be super fun to chill with you guys though.

I guess 'alto' is more of a definition of range rather than voice-type (so could be sung be a contralto or a countertenor). But female voices are divided into soprano, mezzo-soprano and contralto from highest to lowest. The middle one is the most common. I'm really not sure where I'd go myself, 'cause I really can't sing at all...

Well... It can't exceed the speed of sound... But there's some other limit as well? But basically, a bigger volume would be more stable? Hm... Well, if I think about it as being a mass in motion, then more mass is greater inertia, so that would make sense. (And moving it at the same velocity would require more energy.) I'm sure speed would still play some kind of role though, since more speed is still more energy. But it should move forwards faster if you up the speed, no? It can't all go into rotational energy.

Hmmm... I've been thinking about vortex cannons today. You know, the kind that shoot toroidal vortices of air? We have a toy one at home here somewhere... Been trying to figure out the physics of it.

I get that the vortex forms due to drag, and the circular opening. So higher fluid velocity should make it 'roll tighter' in a sense? So bigger pressure gradient? You know about tornadoes and such (and lots of other things), don't you? It's kind of like a rolled-up tornado in a way, it's got an 'eye' in the center of the vortex. So would higher velocities make them more stable? Or would a bigger volume make them more stable? I'd be curious to try to build one, since they seem simple enough that even I could make something.

I've been busy all week, so I'll be checking into another optometrist this week. Certainly hoping I can get something done. It's a fucking nice day and I'm sitting here in a dark room, thinking of playing videogames, when I should be out trying to do something and enjoy it. Probably gonna install Sleeping Dogs on Steam and play some of that, I think.

Had a bit of a nasty falling out with my friends last night and I think I'm kinda done with them. It's clear they don't understand my situation, don't want to, and only want to make a big joke of it now, so I'm just cutting them off entirely.

Yeah, rested up all fine, but my eye's being a bit of a dick today. All hurty and I have a headache. x( Not really the super funtime I was looking to have today.
